“This is taco heaven. Mary's has established themselves amongst Tex-Mex and all others as Incredible fast delicious phat tacos. It is sad that they have done soooo well for so long but recluse to upgrade the facilities.
Dont think a massive 5 star taco mansion would fit, but a mid size eat-in modern bldg would be awesome. Of course paying homage to the insanely efficient food prep that got them here with a just as efficient double lane drive thru.“

I had lunch,*sour cream chicken enchiladas* mom had breakfast, 2 eggs, grits or hash browns and choice of meat, price includes coffee and juice.. Service is great, food came out very fast both days and very hot/fresh. Prices are good and restaurant is clean, nice atmosphere for visiting as well.“

“Every menu item at Lala’s is excellent! Using the freshest ingredients available, down to grinding the corn for the fresh masa, ensures a delicious meal each and every time. The owner, Steve, is always there to make sure you have a wonderful experience and he uses his gardening and landscaping skills to create a truly lovely outdoor dining experience for his guests. If I’m unable to dine at Lala’s at least once a week I sorely miss it until I am able to get there and relax and enjoy this delicious food! My favorite meal is the trio of puffy tacos (fresh ground corn made into masa and formed into sublime puffy taco shells) filled with perfectly seasoned shredded chicken, the accompanying curtido, bean rolls and the green salsa. “Been wanting to try this for so long! Yum yum! We might make it a weekly thing! We used to go to Chipotle when we lived in San Antonio and were bummed there wasn't one here in Kerrville. We kept driving by when running errands, finally decided to try it, and so glad we did. The food is just as good as Chipotle and the servers are better, as they are focused on the customer instead of blasting loud music.“

I read it was the old taco bell recipes and healthier.
The bean burrito brought back memories of 25 cent bean burrito in the late 60s, at $2.50 ish it was still inexpensive.
The loaded burrito had good flavor and hit the spot.
It was late not a lot of options and it was fast and I was back on the road in a flash.“
