“I've been here a few times just for cupcakes. I saw the owner post something last week when I was sick about chicken and dumplings because I was sick it sounded amazing! She was so sweet and the food was delightful. I went back today and got the zuppa soup and jalapeño popper crossiant with cornbread and smores cupcake and it was all sooo yummy!“

“You don't go to Mornings Kolaches for the atmosphere. You go there to pick up some phenomenal Jolly Peno kolaches to take to work. BEST KOLACHES EVER!!! The bacon and cheese is my #2 favorite. A couple of the women that work there are pretty nice too. So there's that. In all, this is one of my 3 regular morning stops. Highly recommended. 2 thumbs up.??“

“First time, and a small place but nice. The person working was very nice and pleasant. Just got home and everything was great. The cake pieces were soft and delicious. Compared to the other bigger bakeries and the cake pieces are hard as a rock and pricey. I definitely recommend this place. Only took one picture of some items.“

“In the last 6 years, I have traversed the great state of Texas. A total of almost 700,000 miles. In the process, I have experienced some of the best eats in Texas. This of course would be an understatement if I excluded the Texas Kolache. Fortunately for you, I did not. As many kolaches as I have eaten across this state in 6 years...NO ONE, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE! beats Mornings Kolaches of Houston Texas. There no one even close! They have multiple locations across Houston. It is worth a pilgrimage, especially for you kolache fanatics.“

“I've eaten here since I was 10 years old and every day before school. It's the absolute best place to get kolaches. Now if they'd only start freezing and shipping them!! I'm more than willing to pay whatever is takes. Lol I moved 30 years ago and when we come to visit we order 15-25 dozen original to take home and freeze.“

“The lady at the bakery said “it’s been a while since you last came” I said “I’m sorry, I’ll try to stop by more often” 😅 The bread is amazing and you have many options to choose from. I highly recommend this bakery because the staff are so friendly and the prices are amazing for what you get. They remember their customers it’s only fair we continue to help the business grow. “I traveled here from NC to get my kolache fix and the one s I wanted were not ready ,so I said I would wait til they came out of the oven and while I was waiting they gave me a sausage and cheese kolache and I thought that was so so nice. Their service here was outstanding and of course the kolaches were the best. Thank you guys y’all are great!!!“

“Incredibly nice people and the sweet bread is so good! I no longer need to go anywhere else, as this is my favorite ?. Yes they ask you to wear gloves to keep everything sanitary and clean, as we are in the middle of a pandemic. Any one who complains over that is just weird, lol“

“There is no doubt that the kolache recipes are absolutely amazing and keep everyone coming back. However the reviews that mention that they don’t warm up the kolaches, or even offer to warm them, are true. This has always been disappointing to me. They got my order wrong this morning, but normally they always get my order correct and have decent coffee. Have a good morning ☀️“

“I love this location off Wallisville Road in Houston! They always have great specials and super fast service. I had a great experience with Reyna and Jennifer—both young ladies were incredibly helpful and had such positive, welcoming attitudes. It's always a pleasure coming here. Keep up the great work! “Cashier was very friendly wish I could have gotten a little bit more of a discount on hotdog buns we fed 250 children for Christmas but hay with this economy $1.35 for 8 rolls not bad at all! Place very clean I felt bad when she was checking me out at cashier it took so long they lost several customers who didn’t want to wait in line.“
