“You don't go to Mornings Kolaches for the atmosphere. You go there to pick up some phenomenal Jolly Peno kolaches to take to work. BEST KOLACHES EVER!!! The bacon and cheese is my #2 favorite. A couple of the women that work there are pretty nice too. So there's that. In all, this is one of my 3 regular morning stops. Highly recommended. 2 thumbs up.??“

“In the last 6 years, I have traversed the great state of Texas. A total of almost 700,000 miles. In the process, I have experienced some of the best eats in Texas. This of course would be an understatement if I excluded the Texas Kolache. Fortunately for you, I did not. As many kolaches as I have eaten across this state in 6 years...NO ONE, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE! beats Mornings Kolaches of Houston Texas. There no one even close! They have multiple locations across Houston. It is worth a pilgrimage, especially for you kolache fanatics.“

I initially went for a coupon I had and got the red velvet & lemon raspberry. Upon opening the bag at home I had a red velvet and classic vanilla.

While I wasn’t too thrilled I went back with the vanilla to exchange for the lemon raspberry and upon entering the store and explaining what happened, to who I believe was the manager, I showed my receipt and got my bunt cake but still got to keep the vanilla!

Thank you for righting that wrong! Will be frequenting this store more often!!“

“I came in here with my husband after our date night to pick up some pastries. I was amazed by the selection in the display cases, and have loved everything I've tried since my visit. The prices are so affordable, the food is good quality, and the woman who helped us was so gracious and kind. I can't wait to try more items from this bakery“

“I love coming here for my coffee when I head to work.
My only complaint is that the hand written menu at the drive thru is way too small for me to read. I love that it's hand written but I wish they would hire someone to hand write a sign that fills their entire display case with the menu so I can read it without having to pull up the menu online before I go.“

“What can I say I have always had a good experience with the store. But this really made my week. Unfortunately I was able to be there for a big mile stone for my daughter. Which brought me in to the store to pick up a minute bundle for my baby. Kierten Simmons was so kind and help me pick out the perfect cake for my baby. While at the store, he was given a very nice bag of goodies as part of Operation Appreciation. It was very touching to see HEB recognize those who have served. Gestures like this are why we continue to shop at our local HEB.“

This time I decided to put a review because of the impeccable service! Today we came in as group of 7 we each ordered or food but one of my friends order didn’t come with all the rest of ours. So after about 15 mins my friends order didn’t asked the waiter/manager where her food was. He apologize profusely and then even offered her a free dessert for their forgetfulness!
