“We have ordered carryout twice now. One was chicken spagetti that was delicious! My husband and I got four meals out of it and I froze the rest for another meal!! Our second was the chicken/sausage gumbo. It was very good! My daughter had bragged on their gumbo. Again we were able get four meals and it was excellent! Lots of meat in it.. My husband, who is hard to get a compliment from, bragged on how good it was!”

“10/10! This restaurant has great tasting coffee and offers breakfast and lunch menu items that are all delicious! If you're looking for cheap, frozen fast food, you're out of luck here. If you're wanting homemade, southern, make-ya-wanna-slap-ya-mama good food, you're at the right spot! As of October 2024 it's still only a drive thru but there's a sign out front saying dine-in coming soon! The service is always impeccable! The owners make you feel comfortable, treat everyone like family, will answer any and all questions you have, and they go above and beyond for their patrons. Today's lunch special was beef tips with your choice of 2 sides, I chose green beans and cabbage. When I tell you the food makes ya wanna slap ya mama, I AM NOT LYING! The beef tips are full of flavor and fork cutting tender, over rice with gravy that you know didn't come out of a packet! The green beans with potatoes and onions are full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The smothered cabbage is always a homerun for me. Not everyone knows what they're doing in the kitchen but if you give this restaurant a chance, you'll be coming back for more whether it's for breakfast or lunch!”

“We just stopped in and had our first Goodfellas pizza a supreme. It was one of the best pizzas we have ever eaten in this area we live in Nederland and we wish y’all would open up a place here, but we will definitely be back to Sourlake so that we can sit down and really enjoy your food. “I stopped here on the way to Beaumont and stopped again on the way home. They have great service, both the staff on Friday and Saturday. They were so welcoming and courteous. The food and ice cream was delicious. We ordered crunchy tacos and a burger. The food was fresh and overall delicious. We ordered small sundae with both strawberry and fudge. Yummy!”
