“Traveliing back to Ohio from Seabrook, Texas. We were trying to avoid chain coffe establishments in order to support local businesses. We found this great shop in Cleveland, Texas. As soon as we entered we were charned by the decor and atmosphere. We met the owners who welcomed us and told us about the shop. We ordered coffee, chai latte and some chicken salad, all were great. We stayed much longer than planned, falling victim to the checkerboard. We will make sure to add The Crossing to our travel plans from now on”

“After looking at their menu online and seeing hand cut fries someone had posted, we decided to try it out since we were already in Cleveland. I had hoped they had smoked chicken as well. Those were the two things I wanted for lunch. Cheyenne was our server. Very nice and friendly. I asked if they had smoked chicken and she said no they do not serve that. So I decided to get the chicken finger dinner instead. When she asked for my sides I asked for the hand cut fries. She informed me they don't have those either. At that point I decided we would just leave, I wasn't starving and no sense in ordering food I didn't really want since it was absolutely not necessary for me to have to eat at that minute and we had just stopped since we were in the area. Cheyanne went and asked the owner and cook if he could make the fries and he said yes! They did not have to do that but I'm so glad they offered because they were absolutely delicious! My chicken strips were hand battered and fried perfectly and the portions are huge! I also got the potato salad which was pretty good. My husband got the sliced sausage sandwich and he said that was really good as well. It looked good. So 5-Star on customer service for sure and we will go back next time we are in Cleveland and get something different.”

Service was quick. Food was hot and great presentation. It definitely did not taste like typical Chinese takeout, instead it tasted like fresh homemade food. We ordered spicy chicken, chicken LoMein, General Tso chicken, shrimp noodles, and the fried rice and egg roles were added to the meal as a combo. We were surprised to see them when getting home.
