“I’m not sure why there is a recent bad review on google, but please take those with a grain of salt. Sofia’s has been our go-to for YEARS, and I am not even a San Elizario native. Sofia is always here and when you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm smile and welcome from her, her daughter Nancy, and the comforting home-town atmosphere. I always feel like I’m inside a huge family dining room. My go-to is the Plato Mexicana and it never disappoints. Their burritos, flautas, burgers, enchiladas, and breakfast items are also really good. These are just our normal orders but everything is phenomenal. Love that they also bring you chips and salsa with a cup of whatever caldo they have that day (menudo, Fideo, posole, etc.). Will forever be loyal customers here, and you won’t regret if you are too.“

“Definitely recommended. Me and the fam were very satisfied with their food. We had corn in the cup, Agua de Mazapan which was delicious, Birra tacos, and a hamburger. They did not disappoint. Everything was so good! And they owners are super friendly! Thank you for the great food and great service .“

“We picked up 11 pounds for our Fourth of July celebration. To say it was great would not do it justice. This is the BEST barbacoa We've had. Many many many compliments from everyone who attended. Each Pound includes: tortillas, onion, cilantro cabbage, and salsas. Worth every penny! and this was plenty for 35 people! I would recommend Ferny's Barbacoa time and time again. Great Food and Great Service! Thank you!“

“I got the garden/market salad with grilled chicken, the chicken soup, a cookies and cream shake, and an ice cream cup. My food came out which was of course hot and tasted awesome. The shake was just right and the staff were nice about me taking my time to order :)“

“I have been a fan of Taco Bell from the start. I love their version of Mexican food. Service is always great, and I appreciate the free senior drink. One thing that I don't appreciate is that the size of the product has drastically shrunk through the decades; but that won't stop me from eating Taco Bell food! 😋😋😋“

“Finally get a Weinerschizel on my side of town (Eastlake). Had a wiener dude attitude & thought I'd stop by & use my reward from the app (free chile dog). I also purchased a regular chile cheese fries (a bit pricey for little amount of chile & cheese). Also purchased a drink. Just those 2 were like $7 & change. Fast & friendly customer service. 2 cars ahead of me, but line moved fast. Was expecting a bit delay of some error since this is a new location & most likely new crew. People need to be more patient

“Jersey Mike's is very consistent. I've eaten here in 3 different states. My usual for years is the Chipotle cheese steak. Today I had the Italian, Mike's way with the juice and mayo. Incredibly delicious. I know you guys get busy but the tables were dirty. I would wipe them my self if there was a sani bucket within reach.“

“The food and kitchen service were good, they just need to pay more attention to cleaning the tables because we arrived and there was only one table available with low chairs and it was very dirty and we had to clean it ourselves to be able to eat there.“

“Today, on August 28, 2024, I had an unfortunate experience at the Chick-fil-A East Lake Horizon City location. They forgot the eight-piece nuggets in my meal and also made my drink incorrectly. It was a great inconvenience to have to drive back to the store. However, I must commend the manager, Abe, who greatly assisted me in resolving the issues. He replaced the food and handled the situation professionally. While this Chick-fil-A has made mistakes in the past, I appreciate the effort made by Abe. Because of Abe I'm willing to give them another shot. I'm writing this review in hopes that they can improve their performance and services moving forward. I’m giving the store a 4 star review but Abe gets a 5 star review.“

A delightful find where everyone soon knows your name.

“I came through the drive thru and was greeted by Melina. She was very pleasant, made excellent recommendations on food and drink, knew the menu like the back of her hand and it was a very nice experience. I had to share. That was top notch.“

“I just want to say that I placed an online order and when I came to pick it up just take it home. I got home and noticed that I was missing approximately half my order and I tried calling back to figure out to see if they can be able to help me out but the line was busy or not being answered at all. Once I got back to this location then I kept trying to call and there was still no answer so when I pulled up to the window I advised the manager that I was calling but there was no answer. So therefore I advised him of what had happened that I was missing approximately have my order. I explained to him my frustration and he put me at ease that he can go ahead and have the whole order remade for me and the family so therefore I just waited outside patiently and he brought me my whole order and I thanked him for understanding and he apologized again for the mishap. If it wasn't for the manager taking initiative and doing this I wouldn't have been happy with the results and therefore I would have left a bad review. “Pretty good place but you have to know when to go there, which is pretty much during low traffic times because they will sit there and make fresh fries for you if you ask them.
And I officially nominate this location for the 2025’s Only One Sauce Packet Per Customer Awards. I wish good luck to this location, the Boss Chicken in Eastlake will sell you four breaded chicken tenders and will only give you one ketchup, they mean business.“

“The customer service was absolutely amazing, we grabbed a quick bite after a long day. It was pretty late at night entering the drive-thru, but Eden was taking our order. They were very professional, kind and patient when taking our order. I would give their service a 10/10, many places you can’t get that for it being that late at night. What a great experience!!!“
