“I had a bad experienced with the girls that sit you down. I think they need to be more polite plus I wanted to sit outside and they told me no because that table was for six people and we were only 2. We went inside and nobody came until we stopped a guy... He helped us . He was very nice and helpful. Food was delicious and is a beautiful place.“

“Crissostomo Horizon is a great place for breakfast burritos!!! The service is quick and the food is always delicious and warm. The menu is very simple and to the point, they offer aguas frecas. We have eaten at this location this Memorial Day Weekend and both days the burritos were warm, delicious and fulfilling. You can go wrong with great food and great service.

“This food truck is an absolute gem! We tried the Surf & Turf Burrito and the Fish Tacos, and both were outstanding. The burrito was packed with flavor, generous portions, and perfectly cooked ingredients. The fish tacos were fresh, crispy, and some of the best we’ve had. What really made the experience special was the owner—super friendly, welcoming, and happy to offer free samples that instantly won us over. Great food, great people, and great service. A must-try for anyone who loves authentic, flavorful tacos and burritos!“

“I’m not sure why there is a recent bad review on google, but please take those with a grain of salt. Sofia’s has been our go-to for YEARS, and I am not even a San Elizario native. Sofia is always here and when you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm smile and welcome from her, her daughter Nancy, and the comforting home-town atmosphere. I always feel like I’m inside a huge family dining room. My go-to is the Plato Mexicana and it never disappoints. Their burritos, flautas, burgers, enchiladas, and breakfast items are also really good. These are just our normal orders but everything is phenomenal. Love that they also bring you chips and salsa with a cup of whatever caldo they have that day (menudo, Fideo, posole, etc.). Will forever be loyal customers here, and you won’t regret if you are too.“

“LOVED that as soon as we walked in they had the cumbias playing in the background. You know when the cook is playing cumbias, the food is gonna be DELICIOUS!! Service was excellent, the Pancakes 🥞 are sooo delicious, and I don't like pancakes that much. But those where OH MY STARS!!! Delicious and buttery 🧈 I also had the flaunts de papa with rice and beans and salsa on the side. It was the BEST food ever. 😋 Tiene muy Rico sazón, most definitely recommend.“

“We bought the family pack to go from Mr. Ponchos and it did not disappoint. The gorditas and deshebrada tacos were absolutely delicious. Our order was ready in less than 20 minutes, and the service was great with a very friendly staff. You really can’t beat the price for the quality and portion. Highly recommend the food. “Wonderful food & service! Sabor autentica de Mexico, this is legit Mexican food. It's a small place, but totally worth a quick detour off the I-10 to Fabens! Tacos, burritos, enchiladas are wonderful, but especially get the fajitas, they are EXCELLENT. Highly recommend!!“

“I love their hot dogs but I encountered a problem with one of their trucks on alameda 😔 the beans were hard and they messed up my hot dog 🌭 by putting everything on it when i asked for it specifically with no onions and no relish 😢“
