“Sunny provides the most excellent dishes and fantastic presentations in all of College Station. He is a one man army; bartender, cook, server, busser, owner, etc. He provides the most authentic cuisine, cocktails and teas, of all sushi restaurants in town. He even remembered our wine selection from a previous night, a night where the restaurant was extremely busy, Valentine’s Day. We have been coming for years, and realized we had never given him a shout out before. This is long overdue! We love Sunny’s place, the food, the atmosphere, everything. It is our #1 place in College Station for date night, and we have nothing but amazing things to say about Azure. If you’re on a time crunch, and it’s a busy night, please have some grace and understand that he creates these masterpieces all by hand, by himself, for each and every patron. “It was 108, I was working outside and wanted something light and fresh. Went inside saw the sushi chef and asked him what his favorite sushi roll was. Startled he said one thing but when he understood I was going to order it, he changed it. SHAGGY DOG SUSHI ROLL! I wasn't happy he changed it, but ok. The roll WAS good, I ate each element seperate and then together and it was perfect. But...I have also eaten the same quality and pricing at sushi spots that aren't two hours away from me.“
