“The sandwich made by some girl with weird eyes and kind of blonde hair (I think Shall Be) was the best thing I’ve had in a while. That sandwich literally changed my life. I stopped cussing, stopped drinking alcohol and started being more responsible at work. SOMEONE GIVE HER A DOLLAR RAISE!

Kid-friendliness: My child was misbehaving and no one said anything about it . I had the best time ever!

“As a Mexican American this place has the best PAN DULCE! My favorites are the EMPANADAS DE CALABAZA. This place is a must for Mexican pastry lovers. Great prices, service and atmosphere! Not really a problem with parking unless u linger. Some customers don't know how to park though and there is the occasional menso.”

“It's been a long time coming. I've wanted to try Dos Olivos for a few years (I'm from Mcallen) I would always pass by going to the island and today I was in Weslaco... I needed to try it today. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint the supervisor Angela was a great conversationalist to begin with and my server Alyssa was such a sweet soul, awesome server. The food was great, but the service was even better! I ordered the pork chicharon, the margarita vinagrete was not to spicy and tangy! I also ordered the Barbacoa Donuts to go! I couldn't resist I had one before I left, they were perfectly balanced just a little sweetness from the maiz and the home cooked Barbacoa brought it home 15/10 would order again.”

“My wife and I we came from Rio grande city but first we had gone fishing at spi with my dad and on our way back we we’re hungry my brother invited us to eat so we decided to try out and omg I loved their Philly cheesesteak and the funnel cake was very good. Their lemonade was very good as well”
