“When I came to post my review, I was surprised to see that the store currently holds a 3.5-star rating. After visiting yesterday with my children, I genuinely found that hard to understand. Our experience was exceptional, and the level of service we received was truly outstanding.
The employee who assisted us, John, delivered what I would consider exemplary customer service. Having worked in corporate training for many years, I have spent a great deal of time evaluating customer interactions and service standards. From that perspective, John demonstrated the kind of professionalism, empathy, and authentic engagement that companies strive to train—but rarely see executed this naturally.
To be completely honest, my children and I didn’t walk in looking our best that day. Yet John treated us with the same warmth, kindness, and respect he showed every other guest. What impressed me most was observing how he interacted with each customer who came in after us. Regardless of their background or situation, he consistently found a way to connect with them on a human level. In my case, he even took a moment to empathize about the challenges of motherhood—something small, but incredibly thoughtful and genuine.
It’s rare to see someone who can consistently create positive, personal interactions with such a diverse range of customers. That kind of natural customer engagement is a tremendous asset to any business.
