“Got there a little early, 3pm. Looks large enough. Noticed several dart games along the walls. Was hoping for a good Chicago brew like I remember (Old Style, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Schlitz, etc.) but only brand names or regional. I was drawn there because their "Cubs" logo can be seen from the road. It was on my bucket list to stop in; and I did and enjoyed a frosty can of Pabst!There is a red food truck parked out front which boasts Chicago-style food. Now THAT is on my 'to-do' list...“

“I visit twin peaks a lot in san marcos and the San Antonio locations and decided to give this location a try i had naomi/bambi as my server! She said she just started but I couldnt tell not only is she beautiful but very attentive our drinks were never empty she made sure we were okay and we had a great time. “Saw this place on Facebook and as always looking for something new. There is a large amount of parking across the street but the parking lot can fill up fast as well . This tells you how great this little town is. The inside is small but the patio area is very spacious with several tables to sit at. There is a stage and the music was awesome! I felt like I was at home in my own back yard. The food trucks vary. I did not care much for the two food trucks there that night. (I won't say which because this is based on my taste not anyone else's) drinks were good and there are $2 shots when you hear the train horn ?. I loved this place and so did my family who attended. The age group is a mixture and dog friendly. Try this place and always judge fir yourself.“

“The Keto pizza was wonderful. The crust was crisp and I have had the cauliflower crust at few other places, but the crust was nice and crisp!!! The wings were great and so was the Bloody Mary!!!We took home pumpkin pie cheesecake square that was keto friendly…. Operative word is WAS. “Small hole in the wall restaurant and bar with one pool table. The atmosphere was chill and easy-going. Great place to have a cold one and a bite to eat with friends or family. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The food, amazing! I ordered the smothered turkey wings, collard greens, dressing, and Mac. “I had to park an oversized truck at ( Rookies Too) because I had to get a pressurized hose repaired at Pirtec and their parking lot was full, so waiting on the hose I decided to have lunch at Rookies 2 and I was impressed, started out with chips and queso and got tri- color chips hot and seasoned just right, then I had the El Sancho burger and it was awesome and the fries were seasoned as well, Sarah was my server and wow is all I can say, she is a Lauren Bacall lookalike beauty, Definitely a good place to have fun and some good food...“

“Great service. We came in when they just opened for the day. The owner was very inviting. We asked if they were serving food, but she said not until about 7 pm. Later, she came to us and offered to make a fish sandwich and fries for us, which we thought was very kind. It looks like a fun place to come for an evening. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be back.“

“I will definitely be coming back. This will be MY bar from now on. From the minute you walk in you can feel the friendliness and the Good Vibes. The bartender David (Primo) is very friendly and delivers exceptional customer service. He went out of his way to prepare a special drink for me that he had never heard of and it was great! He and his wife continued to check on me throughout the night. The DJ is awesome and plays a wide variety of music. He will play any songs that you request as well (if he has them) There's a Pool Table, there's Darts, there's Karaoke on Saturday nights. There's outdoor seating. But what I love the most was that it's a simple bar where you can feel comfortable enjoy yourself listen to music dance and make awesome friends. At Nite Owls Bar they make you feel like family!“

Bartender was nice and friendly; however she wanted to just sit at the end of the bar and be on her phone. She never checked on us, we had to continually go to her and we tipped every time. “First time visit. Came for darts and drinks on a Sunday afternoon during NFL season. Sat at the bar, and my friend and I had Moscow mules and bloody Mary's - excellent! A large group of San Francisco 49ers fans showed up for the game and took the place over. We didn't get to play darts, but that's OK. It was fun being engulfed by an enthusiastic group. Bartenders at the bar were very attentive - great service.“

I ordered the chicken bacon club with fries and the new exclusive Dark Berry Mountain Dew. My wife had the riblet plate, while my daughter enjoyed the blackened salmon plate. I would like to have given 5 stars across the board, but the table was sticky for an unknown reason, despite watching the young hostess wipe it down. I do not believe it was a cleaning issue, but rather a chemical issue.“

“I went in after putting some laundry to dry in the place next door just looking for something to kill the time, and I had never been in a bar before. Bartender didn’t believe I had just turned 21 so he asked to see my ID and told everyone it was my birthday. They helped me find a drink I liked, an awesome girl next to me payed for my shot. Laundry was still wet by the time I left but overall a great time.“

“Great place to just go and get a quick drink while you're waiting for your all you can eat sushi. Definitely a dive bar type of feeling and very casual uncomfortable. Everybody seems really social when they're here at the ringer pub. Definitely recommend going if you just want a good conversation, or just sit silently with a drink.“
