“we had fantastic food last night. It was AMAZING. But our server Brittany never checked on us once. Took our order and I had to get up and find her for Togo boxes and she was just standing in the back talking. Maybe have a chat because I have a daughter in the restaurant industry for 12 years still. While in college and I couldn’t believe she never came to check on us or ask if we needed anything. But I would give her a 1 star review. Other than that. Amazing cold beer and amazing food as Always!“

“This is one of those great hidden gems that you have to know about to find. We came late in the day, and honestly, I wasn't expecting much, but I knew I wanted to try this place. Parking is limited—we actually struck out on our first pass and made a quick trip to Target—but on our second try, we found front-row parking. It was meant to be!
The service was excellent, provided by a hardworking young lady who made sure we were well taken care of. The appetizer (skinny fries) came out quickly; they were a perfect snack before the meal and came with four different sauces, all of which were delicious.
While waiting for dinner, I looked around and was reminded of what makes our city so awesome. It was a diverse crowd—from Chicanos with tattoos to a family with four kids—all enjoying the great country music and atmosphere together. Good food really does bring everyone together. Between the waitresses dancing and the whole restaurant singing along, the experience was awesome before we even took a bite.
They were out of chicken strips that night, so we ordered burgers. I got the 'Riptide,' which was excellent—especially when I added some of the leftover sauces from the fries. All in all, this was a great dining experience and very affordable. Our waitress told us that she had actually been helping out in the kitchen earlier and taking care of tables so we made sure to thank her properly!“

“Amazing local seafood joint!!! AK was our server and she was the whole package. 💗 She sold the menu, the homemade details, the family business, she made us feel like family and THE FOOD 🤩🤩🤩 soooo good!! I wish I could package the flavors and bring them back to Wisconsin. The oysters 3 ways were very flavorful and even a hit with our kids. What a wonderful hidden gem!“

“jefe’s tacos is a great spot for flavorful, fresh tacos in a fun, casual setting. the tortillas taste fresh and the meats are well-seasoned, especially the carne asada and birria. prices are reasonable, portions are solid, and service is quick and friendly. definitely a go-to if you’re craving good tacos 🌮“

“I had been calling and emailing the water street banquet office for a couple weeks now with no response so I decided to go in person to try and book the board room at the executive surf club for a graduation and I am so glad I did! I was able to speak with Rachel who was so accommodating and professional! We were able to book the room we wanted and while I expected nothing she accommodated me for my time anyway! Awesome GM!“

“This is our favorite breakfast restaurant. The food is outstanding especially my favorite, crab cake benedict. My husband had the grits with sausage and pecans and he loved it. Shelli, our waitress was wonderful, thorough and fun!“

“House of Burgers is such an amazing place to go! We take our children often as the outdoor play area is the perfect spot for them! We also LOVE that they play Christian music! It’s difficult to find such a place as this! Highly recommend!“

“Kikos had been a long time favorite here in Corpus Christi Texas. Breakfast lunch or dinner either way you can't go wrong. In the picture is Huevos rancheros. One of my favorite. The price for this plate is only $4.99 with coffee. What a bargain.“

“My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Railroad Seafood and Brewery in Corpus Christi last Saturday. I had grilled shrimp and the fish and shrimp platter. The drum was so good. Karen was our waitress and was very kind and efficient. We will ask for her whenever we eat here.“

“Used to pass this place so many times growing up, never went until a couple of days ago. It’s so good! It’s pricey but very well worth the price. The atmosphere is everything you would expect and is authentic. The staff are very friendly and patient. They offer many different burger options and I think they’re the best on the island (sorry Whataburger). Highly recommend, the bar has beers on tap which is a plus!“
