“I flew into town for a week and pre ordered meals to avoid fast food places while in town and I’m very happy I did!!! Chef Tony absolutely killed it everything I ordered was delicious and I ate like a king in my hotel room all week for much cheaper than going out to eat everyday. 100% will be ordering again the next time I’m in town!!“

“We ate there for the first time last Friday night. We almost decided to go somewhere else because of how crowded it was. I am sure glad we didn't. The ocean view was gorgeous, the music (Jerry Wade) was a perfect blend of the best songs. We ordered shrimp cocktail and loaded fries as appetizers. The shrimp was the freshest I have ever had. It was so awesome! I ordered the seafood salad, the seared ahi was perfectly spiced and cooked. Unfortunately, we are out of towners or else we'd be there regularly. ❤️“

“Food was excellent! The enchilada burger it unforgettable! Service time was appropriate for fresh made burgers and staff was very friendly and helpful. I took one point for atmosphere ONLY because it haa a very bar type vibe and we visited with a young child. The vibe wasn't bad and there was plenty of seating away from the bar area on the patio though. Overall, an excellent experience.“

“This is our favorite breakfast restaurant. The food is outstanding especially my favorite, crab cake benedict. My husband had the grits with sausage and pecans and he loved it. Shelli, our waitress was wonderful, thorough and fun!“

“If you're looking for a hole in the wall, this place is it! The food was better than I expected. The drinks tase so perfect. Parking is a little tight but worth it. Everything is homemade. It is on the warm side when you get inside but its not uncomfortable. They also have decent outdoor seating.“
“Fantastic Angus Burger - and well priced too. The Fries were PERFECT; hot, thick and spiced just right. I can’t believe this place wasn’t packed; it’s right on the Gulf in the Holiday Inn. Lupita was an excellent server too! I’ll be back!!“

Here today; gone TAMALE! Best tamales in town (so far). These sell out fast prior to holidays, especially Christmas. Regular pork are our favorites. Spicy are too hot. Just the perfect balance of masa & meat filling. Only tamales sold here (not a restaurant) & priced right. Sold by the dozen for pick up only.“

“Portis Kountry Kitchen is hands-down one of the best spots for true Southern comfort food. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and fried to golden perfection—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The meatloaf was absolutely amazing—tender, flavorful, and smothered in just the right amount of sauce. Every bite felt like it was made with love. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home cooking, this is it. I’ll definitely be coming back!“
