“What a pleasant surprise to find this place on our trip to Austin! Very nice shop and run by friendly family, which makes for a great experience. We ordered coffee and pumpkin bread to go. When we got in the car and tasted the coffee, my husband wanted another cup and I wanted beans to take home. I am a coffee lover, so I went back for more. Seriously, this was the best coffee we have ever had; very smooth and rich. The pumpkin bread was really good, too! We will definitely make this a must stop on future trips.”

“We were vacationing at Lake Waco and got advice that Helberg BBQ was the best bbq in the area. We ordered the brisket & ribs with condiments & bread. I can say we were not disappointed. The BEST BBQ we have had in Texas. We are thankful for the advice to try Helberg & would recommend to anyone. The smoked ribs were my favorite, but the brisket was delicious too.”

“This restaurant has surprisingly EXCELLENT food! I would normally not have tried this restaurant, because the name seems to be an odd combination of food. However, a local Facebook page mentioned that they were pretty good so we tried it. We have had both the burgers and the spicy chicken, and they were both extremely good. Prices are also very reasonable and I definitely plan on repeat visits. Valley Mills high is a very small town without a lot of options and I was pleasantly surprised to find that I enjoyed this little restaurant so much.”

I had their Chili Rellenos,, which were not poblanos but rather slender peppers, (perhaps Anaheims?), stuffed with picadillo beef. They were covered with a cheese sauce rather than a tomato sauce. They were good, the service was good, and the place was clean.”

They were in the back doing whatever they do...and they heard me up there bc I was talking normally...but they still kept on with what they were doing. Eventually she came out and sold me my two cookies...I'd visit another location any day over this one but their food is usually always fresh and delicious.”

“Took my brother in law here since he is from out of state and I wanted him to have some BBQ while he was here. Now I have to admit, Coaches wasn't my first or second choice, in fact I almost never come to Coaches because previously the food had been mid at best. But... We came in and boy were we surprised. The food was great! The service was friendly and the place was clean. Let me tell you bout this grub.The Ribs were on point, fatty, flavorful, fall off the bone and seasoned perfectly with their dry rub. I am very picky with ribs and these were hittin on all cylinders.The smoked turkey was moist, flavorful and fell apart in the mouth.The Brisket was my only complaint. While the flavor was there, it was dry and the texture wasn't fall apart. Bark was good but I would highly suggest letting the brisket rest in tallow from the trimmings to keep it moist.Mac N Cheese was good, needed a little salt and pepper but other than that it was good and an easy fix.Campfire beans.. Boi lemme tell you somethin, I am picky with beans... Really picky... So much in fact that I started making my own beans due to receiving cold canned beans at another BBQ spot (Looking at you Uncle Dan's, too focused on them massages I see.) I have high expectations for BBQ beans... These campfire beans were on point.. If they were canned then they fooled me and I'll take it.Overall I had a 9/10 experience the last time I came in and from what I hear from co-workers, Coaches has stepped up quite a bit lately and I hope that continues to be true on my next visit because I would love to have to not travel for good BBQ. A huge shout out to the staff that was on shift when I was in. Whatever changes y'all made is workin, just show that brisket a little more love.”

“I got the big dill burger meal. It was delicious. It would have been nice if Sonic had brought back the dill pickle slushy.Tots were far too salty. It's the only major flaw with sonic. Always has been. That's why they get 4 stars, instead of 5.Well, their commercials are annoying, too, but they have no bearing on this review.The staff was friendly. Sonic is one of the best fast food places.”
