The best movies…the kind of movies that remind you what you loved about going to them in the first place. Other theaters May be newer and filled with gimmicks, but the experience of old world style with cutting edge works of art in film can only be had at the Angelika.
Great place for a great film
The 70mm showing of The Odyssey was amazing. The seats are not reclining but none of the other 70mm showings in Dallas have reclining seats either. The seats were comfy and they were good for the whole 3 hours. Sound was amazing, really felt like I was there in the movie. The screen looked amazing too. If you’re able to get a good seat for the imax 70mm, then I would do that, but seeing how they’re all pretty much sold out then this theater is top notch for the 70mm.
