“I had ordered an Oreo shake, along with a Buttermilk Ranch Bacon Burger during the recent Dallaska 2026 freeze and due to the freeze, chose to walk to IHOP from a close by motel rather than drive. When I got there. The burger was ready. They told me they were out of Oreos and I happily said a Cinnamon shake would do. I proceeded to sit and wait for about 30 minutes for them to make a small shake for me to eat my burger with.
Now, after calling into the corporate IHOP # and leaving a complaint as well as reviewing the situation in its entirety, I realized a shake request in this weather probably was a bit weird. They might’ve had the machine off and had to do more to get it going or something. I’m also grateful IHOP was open at all during the inclement weather.
Either way, I very quickly received a call from the Branch Manager, Pam who was looking to make the situation right. I asked if I could come back the next day and try getting the same or similar meal again. I returned and they had everything ready and made me one of the best burgers I’ve had while eating out, in some time.

Curtis the server is Awesome he is very personable, friendly and helpful. He let's the Chef know how I requested and that's great Teamwork!!! I have issues with the App doe scanning the bar code. always gives error, says try again then it said code already used? This needs the developer to fix! I called customer Support and the woman representative is Always Awesome and helps me to solve the issues. Especially when I didn't know how to find this digital Gift Card. But she showed me how. “I chose this restaurant after going to another establishment and was only able to order through a walk-up window and we wanted to dine in. It was like 2am-ish. Whoever the young lady was that served us was phenomenal. She was the only person working the dining room-serving the guests and she did it with the most kindest and pleasant attitude I have ever seen at that time of morning. Our food was fresh and she constantly checked on us the entire time. She was greeting the guests coming in, taking orders, and running back and forth to the kitchen to serve the food! IHOP get this young lady some help!! I will definitely come back.“
