Visited about four, it was not full. I had a brother come into town and he asked me to go back here. Bring your hunger - portions are filling. Food is similar to a place in San Francisco I liked.
I was upstairs clubbing and had such a good time! The music was good, the view was better, and the atmosphere was the best. I'm not in Deep Ellum often, but if I return, thr Independent is definitely on my list of spots to drop by!

No Longer The Independent - It is now a really cozy and hip Bar and Grill with some of THE BEST Wings in Dallas. Try the rub that is a combo of all of their flavors - I believe it is called The Leftovers or something of that nature....Don't remember the name, but the taste is unforgettable. Good Vibes, Good Food, and a Damn Good Time!
