“Went for a birthday party. There was mix about about the large party booking. Get your details in writing if you can. They did fix it quickly.. the atmosphere was beautiful. We were in the outdoor/indoor patio area. Beautiful sunset. Great photos. We also had sapce to do a few activities. We were a little spread out. Service and management overall was great. They only offer small plates and drinks. Ask questions about drinks. Ask what people like and don't like about them. I shared 2 dishes. A pasta dish, stake skewer, and waygu. This first two were great. Seasond well. The way sandwiche not ao much. That patty made me think what school lunch kitchen was this obtained from. I wasn't the only in our group that wasn't pleases. Also note only one check. We were prepared, but just want to make sure you were. We were also a large party. I would go again for an event of photo opps.“

When so many of us were seeking shelter from what was thought to be an active shooter at the cheerleading NCA competition, your staff were literally pulling people off the streets to safety and allowed so many of us to seek shelter. “This was my third visit, and I have not been disappointed by any aspect. The service is great, the staff are friendly, the food is fantastic - try the spicy edamame! - and the price is very decent. My wife chose this visit to help culminate her birthday, and it didn't disappoint.....again.“

“I found the perfect jewel in DFW so I wanted to share my experience. I was stuck at the airport from 10 AM until my 3:30 flight and after several unsuccessful attempts to make a standby cut for an earlier flight, I was hungry and wanted something better than regular airport food before the 3:30. I did a little Google work and Cru sounded right up my alley. Small but laid out perfectly for the space and decorated with relaxing EU and wine inspired style.
The wine is great and being able to enjoy a “flight” at the airport was such a delight. The wine glasses are full size with a stem and each had 2oz - cost was $19.00 which is very reasonable for an airport.
I was torn between the Cobb salad and a panini but at the last minute, I went with the pepperoni pizza. I consider myself a pepperoni pizza expert and can tell you this is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten. Made fresh, arrives on a wooden board and could easily feed 2 people or 3 if you’re getting another appetizer, everything on the menu looked delicious! I ordered a glass of the first option of my flight, it was light and crisp, from France I think and was $19 for 6 oz. The reason I’m harping on the price of wine is because I paid $26 dollars the day before for one 9 oz glass of CHEAP chard at an airport restaurant. $19 for GOOD wine - how nice!
The sweet young lady that waited on me (long dark hair, I’m sorry I didn’t get your name) was so kind and attentive. She asked people when they came in if they were in a hurry or not which is important in an airport restaurant. I was in the process of finishing my meal when I had to handle some emergency business on the phone (I was in a corner and trying to keep my voice down and I apologized to my neighbors bc 99% of the time I would never do that in a restaurant, I couldn’t walk out with a tab and my daughter was having a school emergency that had to be taken care of right then). By this time the restaurant was really full and I was trying to grab the attention of the sweet waitress so I could get out of the way, she quickly took care of me and the only reason I’m mentioning this is bc I hope she sees the post bc I didn’t get a chance to tell her in person what a delight she was on such a stressful day. I’m so glad I made the trip to terminal D and the next time I’m flying through Dallas, I will definitely visit Cru again.“

“The food is almost perfect. The food is a tad bit salty, if it is lowered by 10%, it would be perfect but I understand I have a different palette and most people here prefer otherwise. The paella seafood meat mix is a must get, although I do think the rice is a little stingy, it would be nice to have 15% more rice. The dessert bread pudding with apple and vanilla ice cream is to die for. The service is slightly below average where servers that are not assigned to your table will ignore you. The atmosphere is okay, if I'm the owner, I would be spending a good amount of money to upscale the decor to match the high quality nature of the food. The food is currently very fairly priced, but with a nicer decor, I would bet customers would be willing to pay 10-20% more.“
