“Great neighborhood Italian restaurant live music starts at 7.00pm. Most servers have been there a long time all very nice and good T their jobs. The food is always very good. Salmon on risotto is a favorite. Last night I had a lobster shrimp mussel special served on fettuccine Alfredo sauce. Very good. Don't forget to get some garlic bread some of the best I've ever had.“
“Guillermo and the weather were both perfect for our party of 7 on the patio. His recommendations were spot on and how he described the selections had everyone excited about the many choices. I can attest to the lamb, snapper, carpaccio, & burrata all being delicious. Everything was flavorful including the sides. I am eager for my next visit and can't wait to try some of the other options ?“
“It's a very pretty place that celebrates French culture and cuisine.Soufflé are so fun and delicious! The staff is very professional and attentive.I would argue it's a little pricey for a soufflé but overall we had a fantastic time and the experience was incredible!Thank you to our amazing waitress.“
“The food was good but the atmosphere was a little stuffy for my taste. I really enjoyed the young lady who sang and played the piano and it was a nice accompaniment to our meal. Good for a special occasion for two but not the kind of place to relax and enjoy laughs with your friends.“
“The English muffin sandwich is spectacular. The sausage patty has a hint of sage and then the tomato jalapeno spread is an unexpected compliment. Neither work together but rather they're both bold and independent flavors that don't overpower each other. The pumpkin matcha is out of this world. A harmony of full homely aromas leading to a rich texture and a wealthy flavor. All of this with a European ambience with a hip americana craft vibe. The only reason I gave the service 4 stars is because the service in TX is friendly and this place didn't have it. Here you order from the cooks who rightfully focus on their craft. They should hire a friendly face to interact, and also help clean up all the dirty dishes laying around too.“
“This place has both, some of the most amazing food and the most amazing people. We’ve made a tradition to come here for my birthday every year and this year we had the greatest time! The staff are all so kind and friendly it’s like walking into a friends house.Run, don’t walk here. The food is more than worth it but the people will keep you coming back. And to the staff that have made two amazingly memorable birthday dinners, I cannot wait for the next time I get to go, y’all were all so kind and fun, thank you for an amazing birthday ❤️“
“Our absolutely favorite restaurant! Has been our go to special place for over 34 years and we're sad to see it closing but looking forward to the seeing new location. St Martin has just the right ambiance, spectacular service, and we've never had a bad meal.“
“Made a birthday reservation for a small family dinner. Upon arrival, were greeted warmly by two charming front door staff and a sharp looking Manager. We were escorted to our table and were surprised to have a private room. The table was decorated with birthday bobbles and a card. Our server team of Julio and Vilena were polished, poised, and professional. Every interaction with them was timed perfectly, and never intrusive. They made several recommendations and also brought several wine samples to taste. We enjoyed appetizers before ordering entrees and never felt rushed. In addition to the couple of desserts ordered, a large platter with additional bites of desserts were presented with birthday wishes and a candle. The entrees steaks were cooked perfectly and enjoyed by all. We received a few to-go containers and bags to carry. Our two servers divided to-go food to separate family member groups. We all left extremely pleased and with a great deal of anticipation for our next visit to The Capital Grill. Thank you again for another memorable evening!“
“Great place for a date... you can get a table, sit at the bar, or snag a leather couch or loveseat if you want more privacyThe music was perfect, loud enough to drown out neighboring conversations, soft enough to comfortably carry on your own conversation. Chill tunes from Bob Marley to flamencoGreat selection on wine too“
“I came here for a painting class and I thoroughly enjoyed myself! I had their own sangiovese and it was a medium-bodied wine, savory but also fruit forward. Pair with a nicely put together cheese and charcuterie board and we're in business! Will try to go back! And although it's near-ish to downtown, there's plenty of free parking so don't worry about the possibility of driving up and down the streets for a spot and walking back 3 blocks. Good find!“
“We had a wonderful experience for our first time being there. One of us had the braised ribs which I was told were very good. Rich with the sauce on mashed potatoes. Another had the steak and frites. She said said she didn't think she couldn't eat it all but her plate was clean at the end. My husband and I had the same thing?? (Who does that). We had the boar ragu on pappardelle. It was really good. The ragu was thick and meaty and mixed with the perfectly cooked pasta. For dessert the brûlée was creamy with a crisp top, perfect, and the bread pudding was also very good, maybe not quite a New Orleans style but was great. Our server was wonderful, attentive but not bothersome, friendly and all timing was perfect .....I'm sure we'll go back again“
“Easily the best place to have wine in Dallas. It’s great to bring non wine drinkers here because the selection has something for everyone, I can drink more eccentric options and don’t have to worry that my guests will feel left out. Best selection and prices hands down.“
“Nicole!!!! My savior! She is the absolute best! Thank you for digging my phone out of Narnia. The food was delicious, the drinks were awesome, the servers and staff were constantly checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed & that we were satisfied. LOVED dessert here so much!!“
“We celebrated my wife's birthday. We really like this restaurant b/c my wife has IBS and a lot of food allergies. All the food is made fresh and from scratch and so they are able to accommodate her needs. All the food tasted excellent. My wife thought the lasagna was among the best she had ever had. Flourless chocolate cake and cheese cake were fantastic. Jon made the entire evening very special. Aldemo's is definitely one of our favorites.“
“My friend and I went to celebrate Valentine's Day together. Compared to their Lower Greenville location, I love the size and ambiance of this location! Our waitress was great and the food tasted amazing! Don't get me started about their cocktail and special shots... they were delicious!! Definitely will consider coming again!“
“I'm a person that believe that humanity is the most important characteristics of a person. I am a disabled individual that went into this restaurant because my motor ? scooter is always having issues. Chef Luke has stopped and helped me financially get on transportation and offered me fare that I didn't have. The last encounter I was raining severely outside and he and customer was outside with their loving pets. Funny thing the lady he was talking too. I meet in a different occasion and she recognized me. She came up to me an introduced her in 12 week old basset hound puppy and her 11 year old dog to me. Allowed me touch her puppy and besides the fact I'm on a fixed income and surely can't afford to eat at this fine establishment. Just the fact that they both treated me with great humanity and heart, give me great hope in the human race and I promise with all of my might that I will one day return the favor to the chef. Thanks for bringing ? and love to Bishop Arts District“
“Amazing chocolate experience . I had the peanut butter chocolate cup and the sea salt caramel cake . Caramel does not over power the chocolate and the peanut is definitely peanuty. The ambience of the place is amazing and they have a tea hall for events which is worth it .“
“Fantastic, funky neighborhood spot with a simple yet delicious menu. We had the focaccia and the deviled eggs to start, then shared the filet au poivre and lemon caper chicken. The chicken was a bit more dredged & fried than I was expecting but delicious nonetheless. We will absolutely be coming back.Parking: There were limited spots out front and was hard to tell what was an actual spot or not, so just head to the back lot and you can enter the restaurant through the back patio.“
“Came as a group of 6 gal pals last Friday night. Mario took great care of us and the manager stopped by twice to make sure we were taken care of and having a nice time. We all enjoyed our pastas, salads, and wine, and an added bonus..they split the bill for us by person (including the salads we shared), which is rare in Dallas.“
“This place has been a staple in Dallas for many years. They deliver consistent service and a quality product. Depending on when you go, the crowd can be a little older, probably because this has been a staple Dallas restaurant for a long time. They have a great happy hour, I always come here a few times a year.“
“If you want traditional Greek food, then go to Kostas Cafe! This long standing restaurant brings authentic Greek culture and cuisine all the way from Greece to Dallas. The food tastes mouthwateringly good with bold flavors and the chefs cook everything to perfection! Our group ordered take out but upon going to the restaurant to pick up our order, we enjoyed fast and friendly service as well as a lovely traditional Greek dance performance. I did not take a picture of everything we ordered but, it all looked and tasted wonderful!“
“A hip Oak Cliff version of Cheers! Filled with regulars - I mean a generous happy hour from 3-6 M-F - fab front porch and patio that encourages relax and reboot from whatever ails you.Varied menu w a Taco focus. My fav? The tacos and a bottle of wine combo. I mean - why not?! And all the while you are surrounded by a happy people connecting contentedly hummmmmm. The best of vibes.“
“I will always come here for a good cocktail! Anyone that visits me in Dallas, I bring them here for a drink, cute atmosphere, and conversation. I came here for my birthday earlier this year and enjoyed a DJ. The drinks are always on point. Great weekend place to stop by!“
“I had a great time at Postino Bar recently. They have so many different and interesting wines to try. The best part? On weekdays, you can get a bottle of wine and a bunch of snacks for just $25. Staff were really professional, and they helped us pick out some great wines. It was super helpful and made our night even better. They also have a few kinds of sandwiches and salad, and all are delicious. It's located in a very convenient and charming place. I will definitely go back to take advantage of the super huge deal on weekdays.“
“We had an outstanding experience dining there. The manager and staff were able to accommodate us in their outdoor patio besides the fact that they had that area closed that day because of a storm that was expected to hit and never did. The food flavors were great and the in house bread was to die for. The area if quiet and perfect to walk around after dinner. We loved it!“
“Tina's Continental is a whole VIBE. From delicious (and strong) martinis and other cocktails to the unique bar mix to the obscure movies on the TVs, Tina's has pretty much everything you'd look for in an upscale cocktail bar experience. They get bonus points because my fiancé and I reached out to inquire about shooting our engagement photo session there, and Travis and the entire team went out of their way to accommodate us, which we greatly appreciated.Highly recommend Tina's to anyone looking for a great spot for happy hour, after dinner drinks, or a fun date night.“
“Barcelona Wine Bar in Dallas offers a comprehensive array of wine selections coupled with a delectable menu, making it a must-visit for wine enthusiasts and foodies alike.Upon my recent visit, Riley, our server, showcased exceptional knowledge and attentiveness. Not only did Riley expertly guide me through their gluten-free options, but they also curated the perfect wine to complement my palate, elevating the dining experience. The ambiance was delightful, the service impeccable, and Riley's dedication to ensuring a memorable evening truly stood out. Whether you're seeking a refined wine selection or a culinary adventure, Barcelona Wine Bar, coupled with Riley's exemplary service, promises an unforgettable dining experience in Dallas.Dietary restrictions: Many gluten free options“
“This is the place TO GO! The fact that Ricardo still sat as down and served us and made sure we got our food and a glass of wine after showing up at closing hours was amazing! There was a confusion on open table and their end with my reservation which is why we showed up at closing time without knowing. But we were still very grateful we were still attended after showing Ricardo my email of my reservation at 9:45pm. We will definitely be back and food was good too. They treat you like if you went to visit a family member and made you feel at home. Great service. Thank you very much Ricardo. ??“
“Cozy beer house. About half are local. DFW beers and the other half are from elsewhere. They also have wine and other options as well, if you come with someone who doesn't like beer. You'll get your bang for your buck, as prices were good. The charcuterie board was bigger than I expected. The toasted bread was a nice touch. There is also an outdoor patio area.“
“Truly everything from service, to ambiance, to the food/wine to the music- everything was such a VIBE! Would definitely come here again. We popped in here because we had a 30 minute waitlist for our dinner spot around the corner, and we are so glad we came here. Perfect spot for date night, the owner definitely knows what she’s doing with this place. Perfect spot for an intimate time with your loved one or a girls day/night out! The marinated olives with white wine was a divine combination. The charcuterie board was delicious, simple yet intricate.Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating“
“Service was phenomenal- our server was very charismatic! Ambience was cozy but elevated and classy. The food was excellent! The pork chop was incredibly tender. Everyone at my table loved their dishes. We also had a flight of wine, and when some selections were out that we wanted to try, they comped other alternatives!“
“Our experience at Chamberlain's was phenomenal. Based upon the good reviews, we chose Chamberlain's to celebrate our wedding anniversary. From we stepped into the restaurant, we were warmly greeted and welcomed by all of their professional staffs. We didn't even wait a second and went straight into the dining room area to be seated. Our server was so nice and very attentive. We never spent time looking for her.We had beef carppacio, Lobster bisque, new york strip, and sea bass. Every food was perfect. We usually go for ribeye when it comes to steak. But we ordered new york strip as it was on Today's special menu and so we wanted to give it a shot. And the new york strip was exceptional. So tender, juicy, perfectly seasoned, and well-cooked. Now I can say, you will never go wrong with *Chamberlain's new york strip steak.Overall, we enjoyed every food! Plus, the dessert given from the chef was amazing! Also, Mr. Chamberlain, the chef&owner of the restaurant came out to our table to greet us and celebrate our anniversary. It was such a memorable experience. And it made our anniversary even more special. This restaurant is highly recommended! It was worth every penny. And we will definitely come back soon.“
“Y’all! This place is authentic and so classic, everything was fantastic, there should be a line out the door to get in! The food was amazing, the service was great (very personable), and I loved the old school fine dining ambiance! If I live in Dallas (I live in Georgia) this would be a staple in our rotation for great meals!“
“Friends and I hosted a couple's wedding shower last week at Times Ten Cellars and it was a wonderful event. The venue was the perfect setting for our 60 guest, and the wine and food were delicious. The mangers, the staff and all the workers were so helpful, friendly and organized. Stephanie, the manager was so instrumental in arranging everything for us and assisting us with our decisions. We were so pleased to have chosen Times Ten Cellars. Thank you all at Times Ten Cellars for making the party such a successful fun event!!!“
“Food service and Drinks were awesome. Ceviche was so fresh and the sauce it was made in was perfectly spicy plus a hint of lime flavor, the Micheladas were large and flavorful. Smaller place but is very clean and can accommodate a smaller party. Authentic!“
“Urban Vines is of my favorite places to enjoy great food and great wine. The specials are always great. Lots of nights there is live music. The patio is fun with the fireplace and is dog friendly. The owner is also the chef and he cares deeply about quality - it shows. This is one of the best little locally owned spots in east Dallas.“
“My Wife and I went here for dinner the other night. It’s definitely has an upscale feel to it for being a grill and a nice ambiance to it. Great place to take a date or if you just want a nice place to eat. Their services was top notch. Our server, Shawn made sure we didn’t want or need to ask for anything. When looking at the menu he was able to answer any and all of our questions. He also made several suggestions and well versed in any specials available. The food was good and delicious for the most part. We started with the calamari great presentation, cooked properly and was paired with what tasted like 2 different homemade dips both delicious. I got the steak with a Loaded Baked Potato. The steak was seasoned to perfection and cooked just the way I asked. My wife got the French dip with sweet potato fries. The French dip was ok and the au jus that it came with it was rather bland and didn’t have much flavor this was my only disappointment with our meal. The sweet potato fries that came with it were some of the best I’ve ever had and served with a homemade aioli sauce that was superb. We finished our meal by sharing a white chocolate Raspberry Crème Brûlée that was very delightful and very rich it also came with 2 cookies. We were happy we shared it. Overall I loved this place and will definitely be coming back.“
“Food and wine was amazing! Server(s) were a bit overwhelmed, they could use a few more. I'm young and I thought music was too loud and speaker right above our head was playing rock and roll so loud we could barely hear each other. All the said, I'll be back - just need a few improvements to make it perfect!“
“Definitely pricey for what you get, but the service was friendly, location nice with a large outdoor patio, and a good menu with some nice drinks.Enchiladas with green sauce were pretty good. The salsa was super bland. Server Noe was very friendly and accommodating, though occasionally would disappear for a while.“
“Great Experience! Me and my mother came here while in Dallas for a nice meal and were absolutely shocked by the great food, excellent service and amazing environment. We had a great waiter, Arkansas Fred, who walked us through the menu and made the whole experience so memorable. The prices were pretty good, me and my mother both got appetizers, drinks, entrees and dessert, for under $60, which is pretty good for high quality seafood. Great restaurant, would highly recommend, will be back ASAP!“
“I went here for an event and the blackened flat bread pizza was so good. I highly recommend it. I also had a glass of Cabernet which was delightful. The place is nice and there’s indoor and an area outdoors to hang out. The parking isn’t that great; however you can pay to park across the street at the Loronzo hotel. I will def be back to visit here again.“
“If you’re looking for a casual neighborhood wine bar, that attracts a diverse clientele, Wine Therapist is worth a visit. The lofted minimalistic design with communal tables and benches conjure an old English pub vibe. Similar to many venues in the area, a design revamp would go a long way, but still, a good time can be had by all. I’m not a wine snob, however I don’t believe true connoisseurs of wine or beer, will be impressed with the limited options, or prices. Why visit Wine Therapist? I love supporting local artist, and from Open Mic Mondays to varied musical artist throughout the week, there’s always something to enjoy, even a wine tasting area that’s great for parties (maybe there are different wine options during a tasting.) Parking is easy, and although they don’t serve food they allow orders from nearby venues. Hope to enjoy the arts with you at Wine Therapist soon! Xoxo Lorenzo!“
“Stoney and Diana have created a friendly and relaxing place to hear some great jazz. They have an extensive wine list, reasonably priced, and nice cheese boards, etc. Last night we got to hear Stoney sing a lovely version Moon River with a Henry Mancini tribute group.“
“This is my favorite restaurant in Dallas. The food is exceptional and fresh. The service is top notch. The prices seem very affordable when you account for the quality of the food and uniqueness of the dishes. I don't think you can find a comparable restaurant in Dallas for a similar price. My husband and I like to share 2-3 small plates and one large plate. We've gotten: roasted grapes, Asian pears & burrata salad (fantastic), grilled shrimp and avocado (highly recommend), miso pork ribs (tender and flavorful), coconut braised baby carrots (delicious), duck confit (excellent), and the grilled pork chop (what I believe is the best item on an outstanding menu).I love that this restaurant sources locally and modifies its menu seasonally. I've tried the pork chop in both fall and spring, and the flavors are different but both superb. The staff is kind and very attentive. They work well as a team, dropping off and explaining dishes, picking up finished dishes, etc. One of the owners and/or managers stop by your table to ask how your experience is. Overall, one of the most enjoyable meals you can have at a restaurant and one of the most affordable for a fine dining experience.“
