“I loved this restaurant when I first ate here 28 years ago. I moved away but was in Dallas last night so I made a reservation and it was even more amazing than I remembered. The service was impeccable. Our waiter Charlie was amazing and recommended the best wine pairings but the food… ah the food…. Let’s just say if I ever have a “last meal” I would want it to be this. I got the champagne Brie soup, the Filet Rossini and flourless chocolate cake. Each bite was perfection. Seriously, one of the best meals of my life. Hope it doesn’t take another 28 years to return. “We hosted our baby shower at Times Ten Too this past weekend and everything was better than perfect. Stephanie the event coordinator was so helpful and relaxed throughout that process, and Jeanie helped us with our wine sampling and bartending the day of and was absolutely delightful. The flatbreads were divine and the wine even better (so people told me!). People couldn’t stop raving.

“Omg! This place is the bomb! From the moment we walked in, we were treated like family. The service was amazing. Our first experience was so awesome we came back two days later. Tastings, wine club, wines by the glass, all were superb.

Team members were very engaging and super knowledgeable about wine. The best part is they talk to you on a level that makes you want to learn more and want to come back.

“Valle is a very beautiful bar with a great atmosphere and a stylish vibe. The place is well designed, the drinks are good, and it’s a nice spot to spend time with friends. The only downside is that the music is extremely loud. It can be difficult to have a conversation or fully enjoy the experience because of the volume. I noticed that some people even leave because it’s hard to relax and socialize. If they lowered the music just a little, this place would be nearly perfect.“

From the charming ambiance to the flawless service, every detail made the evening unforgettable. We started with their famous Marshmallow Soup — a creamy tomato and carrot bisque with tangy goat cheese “marshmallows.” Truly unique and so comforting. For entrées, we shared the Southwest Chicken Soufflé and the Mac & Cheese Soufflé. Both were divine — airy yet rich, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. I finished with the Blueberry Soufflé, which was bursting with flavor and beautifully airy. My husband had the Crème Brûlée, with its perfectly crisp top and creamy custard — classic and flawless. “What an impeccable experience. Service is exactly what you want, and the food was delicious. Oyster nachos were very tasty. I absolutely loved the key lime pie.

The GM gave the history of this location. A few years back, there was a terrible tornado that ripped through the location, but the history of rebuilding the location and the symbolic life jackets on the wall of the 12 survivors who were in the location when the tornado hit.

Honestly, this is what gives a place true character, and I'm sure this place will live on to tell more phenomenal stories. Cheers to these amazing people running this place. A true testament to honest and great hospitality.“

However, it’s not the quietest or most budget-friendly option. The fish dish I ordered was beautifully presented and full of flavor, though the portion was on the smaller side. “Exceptional Food and Service, Even for Takeout.

I recently placed a takeout order at Ruth’s Chris Steak House, and I must say, the experience exceeded my expectations.

I ordered the ribeye, cooked medium-well, and was genuinely impressed by how perfectly it was prepared. In my experience, many steakhouses struggle to get medium-well right, either overcooking the steak or serving it considerably less done than requested. I’ve even had instances where an undercooked steak was justified on the basis that it would supposedly taste better that way. While I can appreciate a chef’s preference, I believe a steak should ultimately be prepared to the guest’s liking, and Ruth’s Chris delivered precisely that.

Beyond the accuracy of the preparation, the steak itself was phenomenal. The flavor was exceptional, the seasoning was beautifully balanced, and every bite was thoroughly enjoyable. I would go so far as to say it was seasoned to perfection.

I also ordered the signature sweet potato casserole, and this was perhaps the biggest surprise of the evening. Having tried similar dishes at other well-known upscale steakhouse chains in the area, I wasn’t expecting anything particularly remarkable. However, after reading several glowing reviews of Ruth’s Chris’s version, my curiosity got the better of me.

I’m delighted it did.

The casserole was nothing short of magnificent. Rich, buttery, and wonderfully indulgent, each bite practically melted in my mouth. I can certainly understand how some might find it a little too sweet, but for my personal taste, it was just about perfect. It is easily one of the most memorable sweet potato casseroles I’ve had.

I’m already hoping this location offers takeout orders for the holidays, because I think I know exactly what I’d like to serve this upcoming holiday season.

Finally, the service deserves its own recognition. A solid 10 out of 10. Although I was only there to collect a takeout order, I was treated with genuine hospitality and received excellent service at the bar while waiting for my food. That level of attentiveness, even toward someone who wasn’t dining in, speaks volumes about the establishment.

All in all, Ruth’s Chris delivered where it mattered most: exceptional food, careful preparation, and outstanding hospitality. I’ll certainly be returning.
