“The hamburger is $20. That's insane. Three forks charges the same, and the comparison is worlds apart. It's Lewisville, but their prices are Vegas level. The only day that makes sense is Wednesday when bottles are half off. Food is ok. Not exceptional. Service is hit or miss. 4.7 is completely inaccurate. We keep the restaurant on our rotation because we are within walking distance. We would go every two weeks if the pricing matched the quality of the food.“
“Someone mentioned the vibe was weird... it was as soon as we walked in. But the curious in me wanted to still come in and check it out... I thought it would be more like a coffee/light bites cafe but it wasn't that. Even so I wanted to check out what CBD/flowers they have. Being from Cali, I'm always skeptical. The owner at first, I wasn't sure if she was friendly but when I explained I had chronic back/shoulder issues she was very eager to share the body balm and how wonderful it is. She said that if I didn't like it I can get a refund - to me that's a sign that she's really confident in this product, so I took a bottle at $50 a pop. I got in the car, eager to try it.... OMFG! It's amazing! I've spent a lot on CBD rubs and other lotions and potions.... This thing does wonders. Although we didn't stay because the vibe (and I don't think it was Carol but perhaps the other people at the bar), I will be coming back for this and excited to try what else Carol would recommend.“

“The best food in the area, Guatemalan food is the best, its flavors and most importantly healthy, made with spices and vegetables, the chef explained to us part of the procedures used in his kitchen, and the prices are reasonable for the quality and flavors, He clarified that it is not the regular Tex Mex food that you find in all the restaurants, its concept is Guatemalan with homemade, healthy flavors, the best thing is that they do not use any pork fat, only organic oils. “I can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s absolutely beautiful! Everyone working there seems so happy and is always wonderful. Michelle is a dream! We love this place. To the point we go multiple times a week. Live music on Saturday night and cute as can be! Everyone is well trained in wine and services and it’s amazing. Even if you don’t care for wine they have beer and people willing to help find a wine for you. Try the small serving and enjoy them all. Patio is also dog friendly and they normally give my dogs treats and water. I think my pups love it just as much. ☺️ flatbread is amazing.“
“I cannot say enough great things about Soupcon and the team there! Every single time we've been, they have provided outstanding service, superior wine selections, and food pairing perfection! The atmosphere is cozy and upbeat at the same time. They have developed fine friendships with their regulars, greeting them by name, and always taking time for a visit. We've visited all wine lounge locations in the immediate area. This one is head and shoulders above all others. They consistently provide an experience on par (or ahead) of what you would expect in Dallas. And, they are right here in town!“
“We have been there a few times and enjoyed ourselves. Today I asked if the staff could change the television program and a kitchen staffer was on the verge of irate and argumentative. The TV was programmed to the outdoor channel and was actively showing animals actively being killed, skinned with bloody views of deer heads and fish being hit and killed with mallets. Kids in the restaurant were viewing this on the big screen. The reply to changing the channel was “This is how we survive”. I get it but not interested in watching death on TV at a public establishment with kids watching and trying to enjoy my meal. Am I wrong or misguided here? The person on the verge of becoming unglued towards me was not watching the program and was working in back but he heard my question pointed at the nice lady working the register and he stepped out of his role to interject himself. He angrily changed the programming and we left very shortly after as I was not looking for a confrontation with a person that may have anger management issues.“
“This is one of our favorite family restaurants. The food is amazing but beyond that, they go above and beyond for their customers. Today they were unexpectedly closed for lunch due to weather. We were planning to go for our daughters birthday. I messaged them on facebook and within 30 minutes the owner and the manager reached out to me directly including a personal phone call. We went this evening when they were open for dinner and it was great! Dory was our server and she was friendly and very good. The food - as always - was 10/10. We will be back again soon. “My husband made reservations for my birthday but they had a difficult time finding it and didn't seem to expect our party of five. Once we were seated the service was excellent and the food/drinks were outstanding! The atmosphere was fun and not noisy - a definite plus! I'm looking forward to going back.“

However, we decided to try out Kirby's for the first time. OUTSTANDING! The food was very good. It's what you'd expect to pay for a good steakhouse so the price's were not surprising. “It has been years since I’ve had Coal Vines, and this was my first visit to the Southlake location.Very quaint and inviting ambience inside with low light and tabletop candles - somewhat noisy but nice atmosphere.Complimentary zucchini chips were great.Spinach salad was also very good, but would prefer more pear and walnuts and less Gorgonzola, as it is VERY Gorgonzola heavy between the cheese and dressing itself.Pizza was probably the best I’ve had in a long time! Sauce had a perfect flavor, high-quality cheese and the crust has thin, but substantial enough to not be soggy like some neopolitan styles can be.Service was attentive and friendly. Will absolutely come back - I prefer this pizza to the other local options.“

“I had a long layover and wanted somewhere to go with healthier food options. The server was amazing and knew the wine list and the food options personally. He directed me to great choices. I picked the single cheese plate with the Manchego, Humboldt Fog, and brie. The brie was a little disappointing compared to the other two cheeses, but the Fog stole the show. The Traditional bruschetta was excellent! The bread was perfectly light but sturdy enough to hold the toppings. I read my book and relaxed with amazing food and actually enjoyed my layover. The pizza was delicious, as their pizza always is, but I had 2 slices of pizza that didn’t even have any meatball on them.“
