“Charlie's great atmosphere is what I enjoy. They have seating inside and outside, 2 pool tables and dart boards. Karaoke a few times a week, pool tournaments along with 3 ball and 9 ball. Great bar tenders there to serve you cold beer!!“

“Just recently moved to Houston and was very amazed that it was a drive thru daiquiri shop here. Only place I thought could do this was New Orleans. But the daiquiris are delicious. The young lady inside was very courteous. I definitely will be returning“

“Sammy‘s is my new favorite place! I have experienced both the in person experience and the DoorDash. Let’s start with the in person experience… You are welcomed as soon as you come in the door whether you are sitting at the bar or sitting at a table. Super friendly you don’t wait very long and a drink is in front of you whether it’s a well drink or just water with lemon! The food is phenomenal. I am personally hooked on the fish tacos! When the owner is there which is pretty much 24/7 he will definitely come up and say hello to you introduce himself and after that, you’re not a customer, you are a friend. It’s a place that you can go to by yourself and feel comfortable. On a date or even with a group did I mention the fish tacos are delicious and the fries too and I might as well tell you that the Moscow mule is pretty tasty too! I look forward to warmer days when I can sit out on the deck! Highly highly recommended! 10 out of 10! Keep up the great work!“

“Walked in with me and my aunt for a party of 30. We simply wanted a beer and a shot for each person in remembrance of a loved one. Greeted by the bartender Amanda that informed us she would be closing within 10 minutes 40 minutes before closing. My aunt and I took a shot instead and proceeded to the next bar. Complete loss of our time and money. Plus money/bartender could have made. Do better Amanda. Do better la Porte. 0/10“

“This is my absolute favorite place in Pasadena. A true “grandfathered in” ice house. Grab a bottle of your favorite liquor before you go, order a couple “set ups”, order a bucket of beer, play darts, sing, chill. The crowd here is rowdy in the best kinda way. Anytime I’m in the area I always pop in. They don’t have food besides snacks but don’t care if you get it delivered. If you order pizza, order two, share, and make some hilarious friends. 12/10 kind of place.“

“Best dive bar experience Pasadena has to offer. They have six pool tables, and they host tournaments regularly. Also there are four bull shooter dart boards with dart tournaments held regularly.On the weekends they have karaoke nights and is always a great time.The one downside is that this place is very…very smoky.Lastly, the drink prices are the cheapest I’ve seen anywhere.“
“Come here most Mondays for the free pool and drink specials. Bartenders are great and the vibes are hella conservative, making the older generation of patrons very comfortable. It's a dark dive with pool, plastic darts, slots, and smoking.“

“Well it's been a long time I've been there and I'll wake you do enjoy it when I used to go back then, it was nice and relaxing and got to see some friends and missed a lot of other friends, but it was good I was okay I did it took a long time but I did it and I enjoyed it. “If your looking for a nice place to be welcomed as a friend and a Non stressful environment. then this is the spot . The service was great , from the staff checking on me back to back , always right on time for another drink or pretty much anything. The steak was cooked perfectly and was a great price. I was able to buy an extra one to go right before they sold out. they are on served on thursdays , so i would be there . The music is good but over all with everyone just trying to have a good time and no one causing drama and messing up the night . i have to say its a good place to have fun and chill after a long day.“

“All around fantastic experience. I was very surprised. This was the first time I've ever eaten at a restaurant associated with a golf course. I am not a golfer. The food was top-notch, and the service was fast and friendly. My diet Pepsi glass was always full. A business associate brought me here. I would have never found the place on my own. The dining room was clean, wide open with plenty of space, and provided a beautiful view of a golf course.“
