“Food and service were awesome! There are a few food trucks near a highway. Bread was toasted and there was garlicky flavor that went so well with the shrimp. Bread was not too buttery which was great. Shrimp were fried perfectly and presentation was nice. Hope we have time to come back before we have to go!“

“Three of us visited today for lunch. The waitress was amazing! Very kind and helpful. We had fried oysters, poutine, seafood gumbo, shrimp po’boy and bread pudding. Everything was amazing down to the fresh homemade fries and chunky blue cheese dressing. I had to take my bread pudding home as I was happily too full to finish. This place is a jewel for Manor. “My husband chose to eat here for his birthday. He enjoyed the crawfish, and I loved their tenders. My daughter struggled to find something soft to eat as she'd just had oral surgery. Our server, while she did a good job, she never smiled and seemed uninterested in general. The front parking is difficult if you are not an experienced driver. Overall, I wish that he would have picked somewhere else.“

“We had the best experience here! Yesterday, we celebrated my daughter’s 21st birthday brunch. Our waiter Ian was amazing! The hostess was so kind and accommodating! She let me come in a little sooner than our reservation so I could set up the table with birthday decor! The food and drinks were delicious! We had a beautiful table out on the patio for 12 and Ian took very good care of us! Thank you for making my daughter’s birthday brunch so special! “Captain Benny’s is a longtime restaurant in Central Austin serving seafood next to the Marriott. They have all the standard seafood fair, nothing fancy, but very tasty. There’s outdoor seating in addition to inside seating, and the bar is a big horseshoe shaped thing that’s kind of fun.“

“WHELP it finally happened!

I finally got to a place i really wanted to eat at, because i have been here before and i absolutely love the food, only to find out i do not have enough to tip. I was devastated.

However, our server was not. She actually was amazing throughout our entire experience. She made us feel like family. From the complimentary butter, to the oh so properly dressed drinks, she was 100% on point. And i did not tip. My goodness i felt like royalty with the level of service that this server/bartender was able to provide. Almost immediately upon entering we were greeted with a coloring page for our child. Now that is top tier. ALSO, i was otw to the bathroom, the same server looks down the hallway and says the code for the door! I didn’t even know about the keypad! This woman was on top of absolutely everything!

I absolutely love this place and cannot wait to come back to make up for my misdeed.“
