“This place has the best smoked flavor on their meats around. The brown gravy is SO good I could literally drink it! The bear bowl is delicious and if you ever see elote topped with brisket you better get you some! This place is family owned and operated, so eat local. They are only open for lunch so make sure to check them out on Saturday if you can't get by during the week. My family & I love to order the brisket & pulled pork by the pound ?“

“This was my first time coming here to eat. I saw a sign on the highway-Texas Best Smokehouse, so I stopped. It is inside of the gas station and is right next to Fuzzys Taco Shop. Everything in this place was clean. Definitely take pride in their place. Awesome. I approached the counter and spoke to a young gentleman who was friendly and very helpful. I had the chopped beef sandwich with extra sauce. It was tasty. Then at the checkout a pleasant young lady asked me if I needed a fork for my sandwich. Just nice experience all around. The sandwich was delicious. I will definitely comeback to try something different.“

“I have to stop and take the time to give 5 stars and if I could give 10, I would! First, I want to give major props to the hostess, Sierra, for being amazing and patient with me over the phone as I had many questions for some special clients that we had to cater for. She talked me through my entire order and even took the time to step away and ask a couple of questions for me to make sure that I had everything taken care of. You’re very lucky if you find employees like this these days, she is a gem for sure.

Next, I want to say how grateful I am for their general manager, Katrina, and I don’t know if I spelled that correctly:-) she called me with the total and went over the order with me and we made a couple of changes that were going to make our event the best possible and make sure that our clients are well fed and happy. We haven’t even had the barbecue yet and I already know it’s going to be amazing because of the way both of these people interacted with me and spoke about their barbecue.

So whoever is out there that wants to know, your team is doing a stellar job and they went above and beyond to take care of me and because of that, we will be back for sure! “We brought a visitor from Germany who said the steaks in the US were disappointing. We were all very happy with our food, but the service, especially our waiter, was amazing. He was knowledgeable, friendly and funny, and truly seemed to enjoy his job. My husband owned a steakhouse in Germany and he was so impressed with the staff, especially Robbie.
