“Having family in Denison, we regularly visit Kent's. Always great sized portions, lightning speed service, and really phenomenal tex mex. The carne asada was my most recent new order. Covered in grilled onions and bell peppers and the steak was cooked to perfection. Typically I order the Chicken Fried Steak, they have the top 3 best chicken fried steak in North Texas. Great size, nice thick cut ribeye inside, and a nice savory gravy.“

“This is a busy place, but despite the crowds service is fast and friendly.Their chicken fried steak has great taste, good gravy and nice flavors in the meat. The coating is nice and crispy. The only negative is that they don’t have mashed potatoes, only fries and those are kind of greasy. The serving size is plenty big. “Good food. Sad to say that I was informed tonight that they were no longer going to have ketchup in a bottle. They were changing to little packets. It's ok for a fast food place but not for a restaurant. Have enjoyed eating there but I won't anymore. Update: Ketchup has returned ?“

“The war pig taco was the star of the show tonight. We also enjoyed the brisket taco! We felt the crispy chicken lacked something as a taco but we'd eat that fried chicken by itself all day long. Definitely kid approved. The pork belly was a little too fatty for me but it had a great flavor. We will pass on the corn and queso next time.“
