“I came to Mariah’s for New Year’s brunch and it was absolutely fantastic. The brunch buffet was executed perfectly, the chicken and waffles were bomb, and the seafood spread was impressive and fresh. Everything was well thought out and beautifully presented.

The service, as always, was excellent. Attentive, professional, and welcoming. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance of classy yet not pretentious, which makes it such an enjoyable place to relax and celebrate.

The location on the bayou just adds to the experience, such a great setting for a special occasion. I truly enjoyed my New Year’s brunch.”

“A great happy accident! The young man at the counter was polite and helpful, and the food was excellent. I'm actually serious here... my wife and I had the chicken and waffles. It was cooked fresh and the ingredients tasted fresh too. There was also an amazing sweet drizzle that pulled it all together. Highly Recommend.”

“I’m not the one to leave comments but I had to for this experience. Hands DOWN the BEST FOOD AND SERVICE I have every had . I drove by this place for years and never knew that I was missing out on ALOT . I was missing the down home Louisiana cooking and the friendliest of the staff .Including the owner . It reminded me of home . If you need a reason to go this is it . You will not be disappointed. My stomach and soul was full !!!!”

“Lighthouse Seafood 🍤 has the MOST FRESH AND TASTY seafood I’ve had in years! The 2 catfish fillets with 2 stuffed shrimp is my absolute favorite! The stuffed shrimp are huge and so delicious. Always fresh fish, nothing frozen. The price of a $10 platter is $25 anywhere else!! You get LOTS of food for your money PLUS a sweetheart of an owner.”

“First time. Got enchiladas. We’re out of chile carne sauce, wasn’t offered chips/salsa, but another table had, so I asked. Said they were saving them, it was the last of them? But she did get me some after I asked. Super friendly, but not organized . I’d asked for queso but she didn’t hear that. So I didn’t get once meal came, I said never mind on queso. Sign on door said hiring, so I figured she was new. I’d asked about some bakery items, she didn’t know. Said they had a new baker? Anyways. I live close. I liked what I ate. I will go back”

“Wonderful little restaurant in the Dickinson area! My husband and I shared the hunan shrimp and sesame chicken lunch special which came with the best wonton soup. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and the right temperature. My 2 year old daughter loved the sesame chicken and egg rolls. Our waitress was very friendly and the food came out quick! This has become a favorite regular spot for us and we’re going to miss it when we move out of state next month!”

“Seriously the best pizza we’ve ever had. It was piping hot and the toppings were generous. The grandkids wanted chicken alfredo pasta. It wasn’t on the menu, but the owner made it for them! The owner was friendly and made our visit so enjoyable. There was even a Christmas themed photo backdrop behind the booth we sat in. So festive!🎄”

“Food was on point SUPER GOOD I LOVED IT !!! The chicken pasta was AMAZING!! I also had the smothered hamburger steak with gravy rice and for my sides I had green beans and corn and the yams as well. “This is a great bar with the best bartenders & manager ever. Bring your own bottle, they sell setups. They have wine and their beer is some of the coldest you'll have. Super friendly patrons are in here all the time.”

“A small shop. Avocado is good taste. The brown sugar bobba was too swet even with 50% sugar. A clean rest room and restaurant.
We will visit again next time we visit galveston.”

“I have been eating here for so many years. The Best Catfish in the Greater Houston/Galveston area. I have since moved away from Dickinson, but I come to see Ms. Lily once a month and still get the "All You Can Eat Catfish." A MUST when in the area or traveling to Galveston. 5 stars all the way...they treat you like family.”

“This is a restaurant that bought an old shut down fast food restaurant (Burger King or McDonald’s). One of those family owned restaurants where you know the food is gonna hit. It has a lot of charms about it.

There were 3 of us and we got 2 combos (fish and shrimp combo) and it was enough to fill all of us up. The taste was great and the fried rice was really good too.

The server was very polite and she brought out all the sauces and things we needed.”

“We order and eat here at least once a week. My sons favorite plate is here. Tonight I got charro beans and not refried and they forgot his cups. Anyone have picky kids by any chance? I called and the girl who answers, I asked to pick up the beans and chips tomorrow. Instead of taking care of these small little details she started telling me what I did wrong, I hung up. Do better business with your loyal customers. If it was me I wouldn’t mind but my kid literally has to have it this way to even enjoy his food.”
