The brisket is so good, you don't need to add BBQ sauce. It is not often that you can say that. We have eaten there enough times that I am now officially 'a piggy boy'.
I don't have enough good things to say about this new location in Johnson City of Pig Pen BBQ. The original in Dripping Springs is a family favorite of ours, and the food is DELICIOUS. This location really brings together the fact that BBQ is a family affair. There is a huge playscape area for the kiddos to play, a bar to keep the adults indulged, and plenty of delicious vittles to satisfy anyone's tastes. Ate at Pig Pen BBQ in Dripping Springs today! It was AMAZING. There was 5 of us and we all ordered something different. The smoked Turkey sandwich was so thick with meat could only eat half. Pulled Pork sandwich was worth the trip from Florida. Chopped beef was a BIG heaping scoop of Heaven.
