“Table reservations were free the night i went. I went to chill with friends, they never showed up so I was alone. I was having a great time by myself. Small cozy place I was really enjoying the peace of being alone. But when I went to order food they gave my table away. No waitress came to see if I wanted to order I was having such a great time 2hrs has went by so I went to the bar to order. When I got back they had seated a couple at my table, my name was still on the table. Anyway we got that resolved I didn't stop smiling, my night wasn't about to be ruined. If you're by yourself better run to order and run back cause they will give you're table away. This could have went left. I thank God it didn't.DJ was a 7 out of 10 for what I've seen here in dallas. “I brought a friend that lived in India for 5 years and he told me that he has never liked Indian food outside of India but he LOVED Shivas! He had the butter chicken and I had the malai kafta! “Only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars for service was because I was told I couldn't eat my vegan food I brought with me (I was a part of a group of 5) because they don't like outside food. I understand that. They need to step up their game and add some more options for vegans. Side note, I was the one that recommended the group eat there. I ordered a beer and fries as well, so it was only the vegan burger I brought in that was the issue.Other than that, wonderful place and experience.“

“Thank you Theo's for allowing us to gather there for my son David's Celebration of Life memorial. Years ago that was musician haven on Sunday nights and it was a magical place with the cream of the crop musicians. It was my son's favorite place to be and those who knew him knows what a superstar he was. It was only fitting that we should honor him at Theo's. Your staff was great. Your bartender, I think her name was Charlie. She was fantastic. Thank you all for making a very hard day a little better.“

“Came here for an event. Got to say this is a fantastic beer bar, with an amazing beer garden. One of the best I’ve been too!There were plenty of beers to choose from, also plenty of other choices if you weren’t a beer drinker. “Just happened to find this place as we got off the hop-on, hop-off bus a couple of blocks away. Without a doubt, the yellowfin tuna fish tacos were the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked and a very large portion. My wife took her's back to the hotel for dinner. Great beer selection . Not crowded on at Saturday afternoon. Wish we had more to explore Deep Ellum as the mural art and eclectic businesses look like a lot of fun.“

“First time going here. The staff were awesome very helpful and the kept a smile on their face. And very patient cause we didn't know what we wanted so our waitress through out some different options and she let us taste the different flavors. The atmosphere was on point the music was going they also have slots machine. The price was good I paid for a medium with a extra shot. Medium $10 extra shot.$2.00 I will be going back again. “An absolute hidden gem! First, the atmosphere was the best vibe. Calm, dive bar vibe. The bartender was super nice as well. We grabbed drinks and some burgers.My god, those were some of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Super juicy and cooked perfectly. I also did loaded fries which were delicious. The prices are very budget friendly and they do have specials throughout the week.We played some pool and there’s plenty of space in the back with an outside seating area. Def can’t wait to come back!“

“Since I moved downtown, this is by far my favorite spot. How can you not love $3 wells all day, every day? The bartenders are great and the food is pretty good too. They have the Sunday NFL Ticket with plenty of TVs. Oh, and best of all, they have Malört!“

This ducked of place is connected to a hotel, the #Magnuson Grand hotel, which is not a five star rating in my opinion. However, this “hole in the wall” literally is open off from double doors inside of the hotel. Do not expect anything luxurious but I have it five stars because the food was good, service was quick, vibes were straight (even though I was the only one to get booed on the karaoke stage), and the experience was cool. I will definitely be back to redeem my performance lol. There was a mix between dj #music and the performances. “Had a snack here before a stars game. The service was quick and the food was tasty. We were about 2 hours early for the game so we had no wait. However, while we ate, a line grew. I knocked it down one star because it got packed. The table next to us sat too many people there, so they naturally crammed in and it forced us out. Otherwise, I recommend checking this place out for a quick bite before a game.“

I ordered the Texas Cheddar burger it was very good, the bread had wonderful soft taste not like your regular bun. I had to get up and ask for refills and extra ranch because we didn't see our waitress and she wasn't coming over to check on us. Service needs to get better. Food is great!Parking: The parking spots are small. There are 2 construction trucks parked already blocking the entrance. ADA parking will be difficult since the spaces are not the regular size. “Good neighborhood hole in the wall. DJ Playing all kinds of music. Live Tejano/Spanish type music on Saturdays. Very casual dress code. Bring your own liquor bottle as they only serve beer and set ups. Need about 1 or 2 more restrooms. Front patio. Clientele is more of the blue collar type of people. Not to bad of a place. Hardly ever any drama there since the crowd is mostly 35 and up.“
