My wife is on the way back from visiting relatives and just left Praseks with a bag of goodies. Can't hardly wait till she gets home :) :). I am drolling with anticipation!!!“
“Representing one of the Mikeska Brothers BBQ Dynasty here in EL Campo, a devine establishment of meat has been serving the town for decades.To say that BBQ is an acquired taste is an understatement. One could argue all day long that the BBQ he/she was raised on is the best. Having tried Mikeska BBQ across Texas, I can attest that all of it is good. But EL Campo is home and this is what I grew up eating therefore, this is the best.The sides are homemade and amazing. Many times you find good BBQ and mediocre sides, but that is not the case here.The staff is always friendly and service is impeccable.The buildings that have housed the BBQ have changed throughout the years and the big dining room now resides out on HWY 59. “They were at Houston Rodeo these past three weeks and I couldn’t stop going back! Every time I went into NRG I kept going back for more. Not only were the candy apples AMAZING, the ladies were all polite! I will definitely have to get more apples and have them delivered!“
“Little place in Louise Tx which makes one of the best cakes/desserts in town. One of my colleagues ordered this cake for an employees birthday and it was delicious and freshly baked. They also make customized macarons by order for a budget price.“
“Had a BBQ chicken sandwich. That was cooked so good, the BBQ sauce soaked in. Also had a brisket sandwich that was quite excellent. A water and a Gatorade as well. Service was quick and superb. The restrooms were quite clean. I was very pleased with the visit. This is also an Exxon convenience store.“
“It is a great gas/ snack stop. Of course, they have a full meat market , but I just like the meat sticks and some of the snack food or bakery goods. But don't think they just have food , they have wine , great gifts for foodies. You must stop there. They also have hot food and an area to eat it in.“
