Lo-Fi's pastries are Elgin's best, freshly baked daily with love. The customer service is equally commendable, providing a warm welcome that makes every visit more than just a cup of coffee. It’s an experience.

They also offer a variety of locally made goods for sale, including pottery, housewares, and coffee. With events, workshops, and pop-ups happening regularly, this is a fantastic addition to Elgin worth visiting again. It’s a quiet place to work and enjoy the best coffee in town. The pastries are top notch and the coffee is phenomenal. They have a cookie butter cold brew that is a favorite. The ham and cheese croissant is *chef’s kiss.* Really good cinnamon rolls. The coffee is tasty also. The matcha was refreshing. They were baking fresh bread daily. This is what a coffee shop should be! Delectable pastry offerings, great coffee and an atmosphere for folks to stay a while. The owner is only open a set amount of time, too--this tells me that items offered are fresh! The portion sizes are amazing for the price.
