Evidently Mindy Lu must use a similar technique. I was introduced to Mindy Lu here in Del Río at the 5 Points convenience store about 4 months ago when there was an ownership change. “Went for a quick bite after taking the teen for her driving test (she passed!) It was just after opening so they didn’t have the full menu available (no falafel) so we chose from the flatbreads. Two of us had the kafta with tahini and one chose sojok with eggs. Both were absolutely delicious and very flavorful. The cashier was so sweet, she carefully explained all the choices to us and made sure we knew which had dairy, and which were more or less spiced. Our food came quickly and looked great. The individual flatbreads were large and completely covered with the toppings. They were soft inside and crisp outside. I want to try everything on the menu! The plan for the future is to arrive a little later and get some falafel too.“

“The hubs and I stopped by for a bagel and coffee. We ended up ordering more lol. He had the bagel Sandwich and a muffin which was amazing! I ordered a caramel cold brew which was perfect, a bagel with cream cheese, and a blueberry muffin. All were fresh, warm and delicious. We miss the Italian wedding soup that Olive Garden use to have and they serve it here so we will be back to try that and their tomato basil soup!“

“today is March 25 of 2025 approximately 115 I walked in and ordered a turkey with bacon avocado on a croissant they made my sandwich absolutely perfect and they're not greedy at all with their meats the sandwich went down very good the croissant was nice and soft service was very good the cashier was extremely nice and it's very clean on the inside they do have a small area for you to sit down and eat and relax I will definitely be going back“
