The family who bought the business from Mr. Kenner in Feb 2025 is super kind, accommodating and generous. The fruit kolache dough is so pillowy, and they have lots of really delicious flavors of filling. The sausage kolaches are equally good. If you are looking for a local, family-owned bakery with yummy and unique breakfast pastries, this is IT! They can also do big orders for corporate/private events and church functions!“

“I have driven to the Hulen St. Unrefined location for 4 years to order my nephews’s special corn and gluten free vanilla cake with strawberry frosting for his birthday. My sister told me Cookies, Crust and Crumb bakery was now owned by Unrefined and it was in Hurst and much closer for me. Ordering was a breeze and the cake was the best one we’ve had. They said they quoted me a much lower price than normal and would honor that price. I wear hearing aids so didn’t hear the price quoted and told her I was prepared to pay the correct price and she insisted I should only pay what she quoted. I was very pleased with the service and the cake got rave reviews from all who ate it even our server at our restaurant celebration raved about the cake. We should have picked up cards from the bakery to hand out! Great experience all around. Highly recommend.“

We chose a 2-tier lemon cake with the blueberry filling for the wedding cake, and a 1-tier chocolate cake with caramel buttercream and toffee crunch (with extra toffee pieces!) for the groom's cake. THEY WERE AMAZING!! They were picture perfect and tasted fantastic! “I was looking for a donut shop near my office in Grapevine and came across SWEET SPOT in my GOOGLE search. They had a rating of 4.8 so I decided to give then a try. The people at the counter who I assumed are the owners were very pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere was nice and bright and fairly typical of a small donut shop. Their shop held a wide variety of options from which to choose, including a couple versions of Kolaches. I chose one of their sausage rolls and an apple fritter and they were both fresh and delicious. I also noticed as an added perk that they hand out small bags of donut holes to customers purchasing larger orders which I thought is a nice touch. I have a donut shop near my home in Keller that does something equally nice and I believe it demonstrates a genuine appreciation for the customers they serve.“

Oh my goodness, the macarons are AMAZING! We bought six different ones, and tonight we tried the Strawberry Nutella, Chocolate with Sprinkles, and Peanut Butter Cup. The flavors were outstanding, but even more impressive was the unmatched texture compared to every other macarons I've ever eaten. You could feel the ever-so-thin outer edge as you bit through, followed by a slightly dense, chewy center with just the right amount of filling. This will now become a regular part of our periodic visits to Meow Wolf. It's a good thing for us that they're not closer to our house or I wouldn't keep losing weight.“
