“Best donut shop in the area! Donuts are fresh, fluffy, and not overly glazed. They have a large variety. We usually go around 9am with lots to choose from, but it starts getting busy after that on the weekends. Croissant sanwhiches and kolaches are very good as well. Inside is clean and child friendly. Owners are kind people. 100% recommend.“

I have used her services for various events for fashion shows and conferences. Her professionalism is top-notch and so is the presentation of the food displays. Love the concept (all-beef gets bonus points 👏), but the execution missed. The bread-to-meat ratio was off — too much bread, not enough filling.
👉 Fix: slice that hot dog in half so it actually fills the roll + add a sauce or seasoning to give it personality.

Good coffee overall, but the lavender flavor didn’t really show up.

“Northlake now has 2 outstanding donut shops within 5 minutes of each other. Love both of them but Wow has slightly better Applefriters and glazed donuts but the other one has better sausage rolls. Will gladly continue to patronize both of them. Suggest you do the same.“

I am so glad that I did. Yes it was busy but not that bad. The girl behind the counter was Uber sweet and helpful. Her name is Angel. I got her name to give her a shout out. Lol, The people were demanding and insane for this brownie, and I seriously could not have kept my cool the way her and the blonde guy that was the manager did! Super shout out to the manager there he was doing a knockout job. I just didn’t catch his name. Blonde hair with lots of tattoos, kinda can’t miss him….The brownie was knocked out delicious and the other cookies I got were just as good. “The staff at Great American Cookies (1400 Shoal Creek #110) delivered delicious cookies and turned a lost bet into pure comedy gold! My brother Mitch sashayed in, looking like a Cookie Fairy. A bearded man decked out in a frilly pink tutu, a flamboyant feather boa, and tights! They had him prancing across the street like a giddy flamingo, twirling with exaggerated flair, striking absurd poses, and even curtseying with a flourish!

Mitch threw himself into the silliness, pointing his toes with dainty precision and strutting with a sway that left us all wondering if he was secretly loving his bearded ballerina gig a little too much—way too comfortable in that embarrassing getup! The staff roared with laughter over his spot-on toe point, eagerly asking if he’d return again, and posting those hilarious pics online to flaunt their fun-loving store spirit.

And let’s not forget the actual cookies, because they’re the reason we’d come back again. These treats are next-level: soft, gooey, and baked fresh on the spot. Everything was packaged beautifully, stayed fresh for the delivery Mitch had to make (still in that tutu, bless him), and tasted like heaven. Prices are great, and the store’s spotless, with the staff’s infectious humor keeping the vibe pure sugary fun. Five stars for the amazing treats and for helping with our pink princess!

“It was empty when I went around 9a on a Sunday, so there was no wait. The lady at the counter greeted me as soon as I walked in. The store was clean and smelled like a bakery. The items were arranged neatly and labeled. Someone told me about the donut shop so I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm satisfied with that decision. It's a nice shop and the donuts taste much better than the commercial donut shops like Shipley..yuck!, and Dunkin...boring taste, and Krispy Kreme...way too sweet.“
