“Oak Street Pie Co is a quaint little shop with excellent tasting pies! Every time my wife and I have dinner in one of the adjacent restaurants, we make a point to stop in and have a piece for dessert. Our most recent visit included slices of key lime and strawberry rhubarb and both were fantastic. If you are looking to satisfy your sweet tooth with a delicious piece of homemade pie, stop here!

“I have been to many bakeries close to me and this one has the best mild sourdough bread that I've ever had! I know some people don't set like sour bread because they think it's real strong and there are ones like that which I enjoy too but this one is a nice mild bread. It is homemade and it tastes like it... There are no chemicals in it you don't taste the chemicals. Sourdough bread is also very good for your heart! I would highly recommend going to get your fresh bread from them they are awesome and so is the staff!“

Since then their delivery service has been outstanding and much appreciated. I remember freshly baked bread being delivered to my home as a child in England. I didn't make it over there in time to order donuts for my kid's birthday, so I called... and called and called, but their phone was messed up and not even ringing. I called my boyfriend to vent about my failings & he dropped everything he was doing & went over there to try to catch her before they closed, but he was 1 minute too late and they must have locked up early that day (he even lost a steak to a naughty dog in the process). So, I'm on the phone with him and get a phone call from a random # & decide, on a whim, to answer it, (If you know me, you know how unlikely this typically is) and it's the Donut Lady! She apologized for their phones being broken. She then took my order for the next morning, asked me if he played anything, (probably thinking sports) and I answered, "tuba, he plays the tuba and likes skateboarding"... she asked me to text her a picture of a tuba. This woman painted icing tubas on this kid's favorite kind of donut ?

At our pick up time of 8 AM on the day of the party, July 15th, we got a text from Walmart saying they would be unable to fulfill our cake order and would not assist in transferring the order to another location. I called another Walmart location and they were also unable to fulfill the order but suggested this location. I called and spoke to Kim and she helped to get my order in and promised to have the cake ready by 11 AM in time for our party.
