“This is an authentic "panadería" with all the classics from "conchas" to "orejas" and tasty chicken and pork tamales on the weekends. We used their custom cake service for our baby shower and they really came through with two beautiful cakes exactly how we designed them and tasting great. Our friends still rave about the tres leches cake.“
“Donuts and sausage rolls are made fresh daily. Go early to pick from a variety! The blueberry donut is my favorite and their sausage rolls are the best. The bread to meat ratio is perfect and the bread is so good and buttery. This is the mom and pop, old school/old fashioned donuts you crave in the mornings.“

Our waitress was great but she seemed to be covering every table on a Thursday night which was a bit much with folks standing around in the kitchen. “Wonderful bakery filled with fresh and unique pastries. Service was kind, friendly and informative when i asked about a drink. Ambiance is always soothing and relaxing to be in. However, a bit sad about my blueberry cream cheese pastry. There was little to no filling on the inside. The kimchi croquette is mouthwateringly good which was a pleasant surprise! Also the ube latte is a bit too sweet, regardless made fresh and hot!“

“The Black Rose Donut cafe is more than a donut shop. They are open all day and serve burgers, fries, wings, and more. Not only is the food excellent, it is prices way below other places. I have easily paid more than twice as much for food of less quality. If you like good food, low prices, and supporting small businesses, you should definitely add them to the top of your list of places to try!“
