“Great food! Can't find a Mexican restaurant as good as this one!”
“Kitschy.....only open a few days a week but worth the wait. We haven't been in since last last year (2024) but it has been all you can eat for $13, and is very good. Fried chicken and sides plus dessert, Chicken fried steak or fried fish (very tasty) on another day plus sides and dessert. Drinks extra. Call for days and menu. It's on the left with a large parking lot in front, as you leave Fort Davis on the highway to Alpine. Pretty annoying that one guy can give it one star and give no reason but not open when he wants it to be open (below)”

“Stopped in for breakfast after camping in Mt Davis. Didn’t know what to expect but they were warm and welcoming and the menu looked fantastic. We ordered the Huevos Rancheros and the Chilaquiles to go which we planned on eating in the car, but turned out to be a bit too messy so we ate on their patio. These dishes did not disappoint! Full of flavor, texture, and love. Adorable little place with great food and warm service! We’ll definitely be back next time we pass through!”

“If you’re hungry in Fort Davis look no further. My husband and I visited with our kids 3 days ago and we are still talking about how delish the chimichurri was on the steak AND on the chicken fried chicken. Our waitress was sweet, Kiki was a gem, and they took great care of us. Thank you!”

“OMG! The brisket and ribs were fall apart tender and SO delicious! The beans, funeral potatoes and elote were all equally amazingly tasty and the portions were perfect! And, we had to try both the banana pudding (special) and the cha cha pie and both were incredible!!! We loved the speakeasy feel and the owner was so friendly. We will DEFINITELY be back next time we are through Fort Davis!”
