One of my favorite places to eat in all the Fort Worth. I’ve been eating at the star café for 20+ years and I absolutely love it. I think the chicken fried steak is the best in the state.
Great cheeseburger and sweet tea! Service was great too!

Based on the reviews, Star Cafe and Cocktails is a great choice in the Stockyards. The food is fantastic, with a Burger that was really good, a Cheese burger oozing with cheese, and Chicken-fried steak with a surprisingly light crust. A daily special, Bangers and Mash, had an awesome roll and creamy potatoes, though the gravy was a tiny heavy. The Star Plate for breakfast was also great. The staff are super friendly, attentive, and awesome. The atmosphere is great, with Coors light globes and historical nostalgia. Drinks are great, beer is cold, and prices are fair. Highly recommend folks stop in and enjoy this best stop in the Stockyards.
