Mendelbaum Cellars was a great little vineyard with a very personable and quaint atmosphere. The person conducting the wine tasting was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, and informative, especially when explaining the regions of Israel from which the wines originated. Each tasting felt like a small journey through the Holy Land, with the history, geography, and character of the region thoroughly explained along the way.

Came here for a taste and left with a unforgettable memory. I truly loved all the wine we sampled whether it be in the sweet side or dry side. Francisco was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about each wine he presented. We can’t wait to come back for the warmth, experience, and atmosphere!
We made a random stop and it turned out to be the best of the day. The property is right off the highway but it still feels cozy and quiet. We were the only customers at the time so we were able to experience every nook and cranny. We tried the olive oil tasting station: so good. The oils were very bold and flavorful. The hosts, including the friendly owner Nitzan, are very knowledgeable, presenting the history and story behind their wines. Nitzan engages with guests, sharing stories about his life in Israel, which adds to the experience. Mendelbaum Cellars is dog-friendly and has been recently renovating their B&Bs on the property.
