“This is a very popular vineyard, so make reservations in advance. The wines from the flights we tried were delicious - the winemaker really likes juicy reds, although I found them lacking other flavor dimensions. This was the most expensive tasting we tried and it felt a little formal/regimented with a push to sell bottles and memberships. There was nowhere to sit and relax during the tasting - only if you bought a bottle or glass after. The server was very knowedgeable and made the experience a bit more enjoyable. Overall, a little haughty.“

“I’ve been a member of Safari since 2020 and had the opportunity this weekend to bring my best friends. They LOVED it! Kasey, our wine host, was incredible! She really took the time to explain the flavor profiles of each wine and offered suggestions to each member of our party. One of my friends even joined on the spot! This is a winery you don’t want to miss!“
“Had the pleasure of having my wine tasting with Jay! To visit & support a FEMALE GROWER & WINEMAKER that is 100% estate Texas grown IS INSPIRING as a hard working woman! I brought my mom, partner and family. We traveled from San Antonio. I loved it so much I became a member and took home 3 bottles!! It was around Christmas time so there was also a tree decorated. The tasting room has lots of natural light. I live in Atl and I am glad I picked this spot. Their story also drew me and how Kalasi is intentional in everything they do! From the labels, snacks, names of wines, to the water cups. You can also see llamas, sheep, and horses on the land around. Beautiful area. Outside the area they have lawn chairs, to sit outside and tables on the outside. Lot of space for dogs and big groups.

“We had an amazing private tasting experience at Slate Theory Winery. The wines were outstanding—thoughtfully crafted, balanced, and full of character. The cave setting was truly incredible and made the whole experience feel unique and intimate. Our host, Alisa, was the absolute best. She was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the wines and the story behind the winery. Her attention to detail and welcoming energy made us feel right at home. Highly recommend Slate Theory for anyone looking for a memorable and elevated wine tasting in the Hill Country!“

“Stopped in at Augusta Vin on a Thursday. Spent several hours there enjoying a tasting hosted by Ryan, the best of the best. My sister and I both joined the wine club and recommend you take the time to visit and take in their beautiful place and all the views with wine it offers.“

“My wife and I stopped by Foyt Winery while on a wine tour celebrating our wedding. We were so pleasantly surprised by our experience! Foyt is like no other winery in Fredericksburg. We got to experience the legacy of the great AJ Foyt while sipping great wine on one of their beautiful outdoor patios. Our wine tour was fantastic and filled with fascinating history about their startup and success. We also chatted with Chris, one of the founders, who was very personable and welcoming. Great wine. Great people. Highly recommend visiting.“

“This is an absolute no miss place. Lots of interesting beverages to try, including a selection of spicy drinks - my favorite. The owner, Barb, creates a welcoming and fantastically fun atmosphere with her personality, available games, and local crafts for sale. We meet several really cool locals. If we lived closer we'd hang out all the time!“

“Until I can make it to Texas, I’m bringing Diamond Vineyards to me in central New York! I ordered a shipment with selections of Tempranillo, Tannat, Mourvedre, and Melee and loved them all! Shipping was easy with lots of options and the wine was packed with care. I can see why the Tempranillo is a favorite with a unique flavor and warm rich feel perfect for a cold snowy night by the fire. I will replenish my stash and hope to visit the source, soon. “The beautiful scenery and charming atmosphere of the Wedding Oak Winery transported me back in time to my own wedding day 25 years ago.
