“I eat at the pub once a week or so for lunch. They have a great lunch special. Salad, crackers, drink, main dish and 2 sides for around $7.00. Service is always great. Servers are nice and so is the manager. I am mainly there during the day but I stopped in there one evening with some co-workers and had a few beers. The evening staff was great also. Beer on tap was real cold. I don't think I had an empty glass the whole time I was there. The waitress had a new beer on the table before I emptied the one I was on. Oh and the atmosphere is nice too. They keep it very clean and there are tons of pictures on the walls from Gainesville back in the dark ages and there are a few shoulder mounts of big long horns.**Follow up review** Just went to Main Street Pub with my family, 13 years after writing my review above. We had Ribeye, it was excellent! Server was sweet and we had a real nice afternoon there. I did notice the lunch special went up in price since my previous review, it’s about $11 now not too bad.Parking: New parking lot across the street, lots of spaces available.“
