“I literally just finished the burger I got with bacon and cheese.. I told the owner I would be back before I even left.. right after taking the first bite. Food was fresh. Fries are perfectly cooked.. burger flavor was WAAAY more than I expected.. bread on the burger was phenomenal. Not one complaint. I wish I had ordered another burger even though I’m full. Food was off the charts considering I have never been there before and that when you go to a local place you don’t know what to expect. I will definitely be going back and trying more food. Across from me my dad, biscuits and gravy, bacon and hash browns.
I opted for chicken fried chicken, white gravy, eggs, hash brown and toast.
And yes you get a choice of eggs, toast or biscuits, and hash browns or grits.

“My wife and I went on a Sunday morning, such a neat little spot hidden in the entrance of Magnolia. There was 1 awesome employee who was running everything, he took the orders, than rushed to greet new guest walking in, then rushed to make the food/coffee’s for the order’s then he’d rushed with a smile to bring out the food or drinks to the guest. 1 man show and was killing it. Great iced coffee and crepes!! ??“

“I have been here so many times! It’s a place my friends and I love to visit. The food is always very fresh, healthy, and delicious! This time I decided to put a review because of the impeccable service! Today we came in as group of 7 we each ordered or food but one of my friends order didn’t come with all the rest of ours. So after about 15 mins my friends order didn’t asked the waiter/manager where her food was. He apologize profusely and then even offered her a free dessert for their forgetfulness! Mind u this is the only time they have had this mishap with us. I just wanted to say thank you for the thoughtfulness and service! It’s not only about the food and atmosphere but also the experience. By the time I walked back to my job across the street(Central Library)...My drink looks like this it started separating and I shook it and it still separated...very disappointing since I couldn't return back to Fresh before they closed and my break was over...Not a happy camper...????‍♀️“

“Don't want to make a biased post due to the fact that I DJ at this establishment, but from a customer's standpoint I would say that the atmosphere is great. The crowd is mixed with both young and old as well as the music which consists of blues, zydeco, r&b, and hip hip/ rap closer to the end of the night. Friday nights is a packed house. Saturday night is a great chill time. Sunday night plays host to the battle off the DJs. So if your ever in the area Friday/Saturday night stop by and you will find me DJ Lil Tay on the 1s and 2s.“

My only complaint is that the hand written menu at the drive thru is way too small for me to read. I love that it's hand written but I wish they would hire someone to hand write a sign that fills their entire display case with the menu so I can read it without having to pull up the menu online before I go.“

“I highly recommend this Café. I ordered to go as I’m leaving state after breakfast, but the girl that helped me carry my drinks out was super sweet. Not being from Texas I was curious about everything on the land and she was very informative (I should’ve gotten her name). I ordered the Sycamore 2s which was 2 pancakes (choice of 1/2 waffle or 2 slices French toast), 2 eggs, and 2 pieces of bacon (choice of sausage also). I got my son an order of French toast, and a friend the brunch burger. Everything was AMAZING. The server mentioned Mondays they have a mimosa special (she told me exactly but I forget it). I like over medium eggs and this is the first place I’ve been that’s gotten my eggs PERFECT the first time around. It’s an adorable little café and there’s a wedding venue in the back. I highly recommend trying their food if you haven’t before. I took photos but it won’t let me add them to my review.“
