“We went around 3 pm after a long hot day at the zoo. Free parking at the garage was easy and super close. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I chose this place on a whim because of the many menu options. Finding a place to eat with our 5 and 9 yr old can be challenging but the food was great and portions are very generous. I got the chicken fried steak w loaded mashed potatoes. Phenomenal. Everyone at our table was more than happy with our experience here and I’d highly recommend to everyone! Also they’re pet friendly and have vegan options.“

“Great coffee. I got their seasonal “Kiss me from a Rose” latte w/ oatmilk. It has house made cardamom rose syrup it it, and was not overly sweet and pretty balanced floral to spice flavor. Wasn’t spicy, and tasted milky sweet and savory.

Very cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Fast WiFi so great spot to WFH and/or do some school work. Can get a bit chilly sometimes so bring a jacket.

They had light jazz & piano music playing in the background, which add to the ambiance of the place making it comfortable and inviting.

Super friendly staff and great customer service. It was my first time and the staff member was very knowledgeable in helping me choose a drink based of the flavor profile I usually enjoy.

They have a small free parking lot in front of the cafe. Come early if planning on going during rush hour. Parking looks like it can get a bit tricky if you come on weekend, but for a weekday afternoon it wasn’t bad.

“We came to pick up Gluten Free bread for my daughter who needs to now be GF. We also prefer eating GF when possible. We had the rotisserie chicken sandwich with house made pickles and a cup of bone broth. BOTH were excellent! They also said they were seed oil free which is a game changer for us. We do NOT eat seed oils as much as possible. The bread has been fantastic also. Its a little pricey but i feel worth it for the quality you get.“

Guess it’s cause the parking sucks (parking always sucks in montrose so not a unique problem). He did mention they didn’t want non paying customers soliciting which is good. Honestly, respect it. I don’t think he knew I just had the best burger I’ve had in a while.“

“I have been there for many different gatherings, and every experience has been great. The service is very good, and the food is always fresh. It is a wonderful place to sit, relax, and spend time with friends while enjoying the beautiful river view. It is also not noisy, which makes it a perfect spot for a solo date or a reading time. “Just adopted our Lauren from here. The concept is really cool. You get to hang out with the cats while giving them treats and drinking coffee. You then get to take the cat you’re interested in home to see if they are a good fit. Cats are very well socialized with people due to the nature of this business and the establishment is very clean. A tip for anyone new who is visiting for the first time. There are 2 sections. One for the more active and playful cats and the other for the more introverted cats. Don’t be afraid to ask to see the other cats. Love this place and I highly recommend them if you are looking to adopt.“

“My first time there, I had a ball. It's AB well be most people in were very friendly D. J. Twan, is thereon Tuesday and it's really, really lively? There are pool tables from what I can see. So come early and enjoy yourself.It was a barbecue truck outside , so if you get hungry space is filled up quick.So come early , so you can find a good spot to park. See you next tuesday.“

The ham and Brie sandwich with the truffle butter was exactly what I wanted. Perfectly toasted and the baguette was delicious. They have some nice spots inside and outside to sit as well. My favorite thing to order is the general tso. I don't know what magic they got going on here, but they make it perfectly crispy. It's probably my TOP general tsos anywhere in Houston.

Definitely try them out when you get the chance. You really can't go wrong here.
