I usually stay away from any type of ethnic inspired dishes specially for breakfast because they tend to flip and I feel like I wasted money but the Inspired Italian was quite an interesting take. A blend of savory, salty, sweet and sour. It's weird to say it on an omelette but this one was quite refreshing. The morning meditation juice was also very nice. We ate at the restaurant and ordered: Spana omelet (listed under brunch but we had it for dinner) with greens, meat mezze, gigantes, moussaka, lamb wrap with lemon potatoes, spanakopita, mint lemonade and white wine that I can't find on online menus. Plates are great for sharing. The menu there is more extensive than menu I've seen online. “Cool cafe tucked away on busy Bissonnet street, stopped by here while stuck on traffic on the way home and was surprised to have such a cozy and nice cafe to hang out. The cafe is extremely clean and well kept and the service was top notch with our server being very attentive and quick. The food had great taste and the coffee was excellent and hit the spot. Don’t go in here though expecting a more casual coffee shop style place because it’s more of a “dine-in” kind of cafe, they do however have a full assortment of coffee, lattes and cappuccinos however. They have great oatmeal and egg dishes, as well as pancakes, etc. My husband loves the patty melt and the turkey club sandwich.We like that it is family run. Great staff, they work well together and are always filling up your water and coffee. The staff is friendly. The food is regular diner food with extras. You can now get avocado toast with an egg, you can get chorizo , and Friday is gumbo day. I think Thursday is chicken and dumplings. They have fresh fruit cups. I love the veggie omelette. There's also outdoor seating too if the weather is nice enough outside to sit out there and enjoy it. There is also plenty of parking since the parking lot is big in this plaza. I have honestly not tried any of the bakery or food items here yet. I've only tried the vanilla latte (hot) and morning matcha latte (iced). Both drinks are delicious. The morning matcha latte typically comes with oat milk (unless you ask otherwise), and I felt like it made it taste really good. It wasn't overly sweet, but was sweet just enough for me. I liked how clean, modern, and spacious the cafe is. I will definitely be back to try out the food items some time!“
