“First time! It was delightful, the atmosphere is inviting and a wonderful respite from the heat after shopping! The food, where do I start! I started out with the Tzatziki with Pita bread, then the succulent shrimp scampi, I would definitely recommend this duo it was heaven to my palate! To finish off I had to try dessert, I had the Apple empanada & dulce de leche ice cream, it was luxurious and delectable, I savored every bite! And that was thanks to Mousafa’s description, he’s an excellent waiter, he knew the menu well, very impressive! Very attentive, friendly demeanor, with a wonderful attitude! I’ll be back! I got the 3 taco plate lil pricey for a typical mexican spot on taco Tuesday but I know why when I ate my 1st bite I fell in love the rice and beans hit the spot with full of flavor just incredible. “Main Street Cafe has a menu packed with good choices. The burger and fries are very tasty and delicious. The chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken will be the best you have ever eaten. The Salmon salad oh my what a treat. The pimento cheese sandwich with jalapeños and pecans will make you want to return for a second round. I do not normally eat pork chops. Their pork chops are tender and full of flavor. There are many other options. These are my favorites. Give them a try.“

“If I could rate it any higher I would! We stumbled across this place originally when in Garland for business. Ever since we find excuses every couple months to make the drive from Fort Worth to Garland just for this place alone.

Everything on the menu is delicious and made to order with fresh ingredients. We’ve yet to be disappointed with anything here. The couple that own the place are always so sweet, polite, and friendly. The establishment is quaint but clean and welcoming.

I love a good burger and try to find local burger joints everywhere I ago and this place is our favorite. We just keep coming back regardless of the drive. It’s definitely a hidden gem and worth trying if you’re in Garland or nearby!“

The service was fine—nothing over the top, just solid and normal. The space is good too; I really like the atmosphere. I visited on a December weekend, and while it wasn’t crowded, there was a good number of people, which made the place feel lively. There was a Christmas party going on, so it’s clearly a good spot for large gatherings.“

The pieces of catfish were small so they ended up giving me 5 (it's the simple things in life that I love). It seemed like a simple cornmeal batter, which I grew up on and wanted. Not sure the spices they add to the batter but I WILL BE BACK TO ORDER MORE!! Staff was extremely friendly and the patrons all seemed to be regulars. My buddy got a burger and onion rings. Burger looked great and I can say the onion rings were absolutely great!

... I recently saw a tik tok and decided to try them out.. they did not disappoint. Regular Tacos are PACKED with meat and cheese and lettuce..the salsa is also gooodd and spicy...taco bel justl cannot compare! I cant even imagine the size of the bigger taco! I just wish they had more locations .“

“This was my review of the Beef House in Garland. I am blocked. You can't trust Facebook reviews apparently because they can just delete bad reviews and block the person. Good riddance. There are much better restaurants in town. I had been a customer for over 30 years. I finally had enough of the owner's son being exceptionally rude to myself and my family. The food is good, but customer service and respect goes a long way. He has no interest in keeping regular customers.“

“I tried this place for the first time. I tried the huitlacoche quesadilla and the chilaquiles red with eggs and meat. The quesadilla was freshly made, purple hand-made masa but was a bit too hot for me. The quilaquiles were also freshly made with little meat but the rest portions were big. Not too much breakfast selection, I would try lunch or dinner instead. Great coffee! My cost was about $23 for one person.“
