I started out with the Tzatziki with Pita bread, then the succulent shrimp scampi, I would definitely recommend this duo it was heaven to my palate! To finish off I had to try dessert, I had the Apple empanada & dulce de leche ice cream, it was luxurious and delectable, I savored every bite! I got the 3 taco plate lil pricey for a typical mexican spot on taco Tuesday but I know why when I ate my 1st bite I fell in love the rice and beans hit the spot with full of flavor just incredible. I drove 1 hour for a job and hit this spot and let me say its saved inn my Google maps as favorites they hit the spot for tacos, beans and rice and im not a rice guy“

Having grown up just outside of Philly, I’ve been in Texas since I was 12 years old, I’ve been on the quest to find the best Philly Cheesesteak in Texas, and I think Cheesesteak House is quite possibly the best! “If I could rate it any higher I would! We stumbled across this place originally when in Garland for business. Ever since we find excuses every couple months to make the drive from Fort Worth to Garland just for this place alone.

Everything on the menu is delicious and made to order with fresh ingredients. We’ve yet to be disappointed with anything here. The couple that own the place are always so sweet, polite, and friendly. The establishment is quaint but clean and welcoming.

I love a good burger and try to find local burger joints everywhere I ago and this place is our favorite. We just keep coming back regardless of the drive. It’s definitely a hidden gem and worth trying if you’re in Garland or nearby!“

“I enjoyed Lion’s Share XIII beer; I’m more of a lager person, and it hit the spot. BBT is also good, especially if you prefer milder flavors and dark beers.

The service was fine—nothing over the top, just solid and normal. The space is good too; I really like the atmosphere. I visited on a December weekend, and while it wasn’t crowded, there was a good number of people, which made the place feel lively. There was a Christmas party going on, so it’s clearly a good spot for large gatherings.“

“They do one thing and do it pretty well. I got the #10 roasted pork sub and it was delicious! The meat was very tender and the sauce reminded me of the Japanese mayo in terms of consistency and taste. Cilantro and cucumber and all the veggies felt very fresh too. Essentially they only sell banh mis, thai tea, and a couple of smaller sides here so keep that in mind if you come here. There are no tables inside either so you’ll need to eat
It in your car or at home. Good experience and hits the spot if you want banh mis!“

“Chicken fried chicken is what I had set my mind on. When we arrived, I ened up getting the catfish and added shrimp. The pieces of catfish were small so they ended up giving me 5 (it's the simple things in life that I love). It seemed like a simple cornmeal batter, which I grew up on and wanted. Not sure the spices they add to the batter but I WILL BE BACK TO ORDER MORE!! Staff was extremely friendly and the patrons all seemed to be regulars. My buddy got a burger and onion rings. Burger looked great and I can say the onion rings were absolutely great!

“Tables are usually pretty clean and the food is great! I love their pickled jalapeños and carrots.
I just can’t believe they’re charging a whole $1.25 extra for anything with egg in it! Eggs are back to their regular price and the cashier still tried to up charge us for eggs.. We didn’t even order extra!! Plus you typically have to wait for them to come check you out or wait for her to get off her phone to ring up your order. Not sure I’ll be coming back or not..“

... I recently saw a tik tok and decided to try them out.. they did not disappoint. Regular Tacos are PACKED with meat and cheese and lettuce..the salsa is also gooodd and spicy...taco bel justl cannot compare! I cant even imagine the size of the bigger taco! I just wish they had more locations .“
