“Driving home to TX from Oklahoma we had the delightful experience to visit Whataburger in Gilmer TX. I was so famished, looked at the clock in the car and freaked out when it said 10:30, just knowing that when I arrived in the store that the clerk was going to tell me that they are no longer serving breakfast. In my haste, I quickly ask do you all serve breakfast all day. She said no, and before I could lose my mind, she smiled and said but we do sale breakfast until 11AM. I was so happy.

Ms. Angel was her name, and she quickly became my angel. She was so sweet, welcoming, kind, and helped me to remain calm while ordering even assisting in the ordering process, because I had been craving a cinnamon roll. But now what in the world was I going to order for meat without a side of bacon or sausage. Well, I ended up ordering the cinnamon roll which she heated (oh my goodness it was delicious) with some Whatawings…which was hot and fresh and in a nice container, along with a cup of coffee (which wasn’t exactly hot or fresh but it served it’s purpose..smiles).

During our stay while sitting in the lobby eating Ms. Angel never stopped moving, she was wiping down counters, wiping all the tables, then quickly went to get me a lid for my coffee and bag for my left-over food. I simply cannot say enough good things about her. She should get employee of the month, or spot bonus, or something to let her know that we as patrons and customers sincerely appreciate her efforts. Thank you, Ms. Angel.“
