“Excellent prices.....My husband had catfish, fries, coleslaw, & hushpuppies. I had chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes/gravy, western beans, & toast PLUS we shared a slice of chocolate pie w/meringue all for $23!! (My daughter had the pulled pork on a different visit and she LOVED it! $3.99)“
“Was looking for some napkins in the dining room and there aren't any. The people behind the counter give you some but I thought it was weird you have to ask for napkins in a place where people buy food. There should be napkins at the table or by the drink machine.“
“Overall I gave a good rating simply cause they are the only place open late anymore. The chili dogs need more seasoning tho.Dietary restrictions: I'm allergic to dairy. At this restaurant from my experience someone with the same allergy can have the chili dog (without cheese), fries, tots, and the jumbo popcorn chicken.“
“We usually stop for lunch on our way through the area and we’ve never had a bad meal or service! Can’t go wrong with one of their burgers, and their chicken fried steak is wonderful too. Don’t forget to save room for a fried pie for dessertThere’s a cute little gift store attached to the restaurant too“
“Great place to eat breakfast, welcoming atmosphere and customer service was excellent. We were greeted and we chose a table with booth and chairs. Fun, western, country music decor environment, barnwood walls, We both had breakfast plate specials, and they were hot when brought to the table, the biscuit and gravy was warm and memorable.Definitely try this one out, unfortunately they aren't open on Sunday's. So schedule some time to visit this gem on one of the other days like we did. I spoke with the staff and until the influx of customers picks up, their hours will remain the same for now. This little joint is right in the heart of Yantis and had been redone in and out, apparently for the better. So if it's been a while since your family hadn't eaten here or your looking for a cool new place with friendly people try this place and you won't be disappointed.God Bless.“
“If you are ever in Yantis, Texas or close by you have to go to the Gateway Bar and Grill. Everything about this place is great. The friendly atmosphere you get from the Staff and patrons is the best. The owner, Gary, is very friendly and genuinely grateful for the patrons. From the waitresses, Tracy and Robin, the bartender, Whitney, and Momma D they make you feel so welcomed. The Gateway Burger and Home cut fries are the best and they serve Buffalo Trace Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey. What more can you ask for. A great place to spend your time. Tim and I had a great time at Gateway.“
“I recently visited Dairy Queen, and I must say, they seriously know how to add humor to your dining experience! From the moment you step in, the playful decor and quirky cow-themed accents immediately set the tone. The staff is not only welcoming but they bring an infectious sense of humor to the table. As for the food, it's an absolute delight. The burgers were juicy and flavorful, and the ice cream, oh my goodness! The variety of flavors and toppings left me spoiled for choice, and the size of the servings truly defines ‘treat yourself’! Every bite I took was a burst of joy and flavor. But the best part? The Dairy Queen team! They really take the crown when it comes to making your dining experience a laugh riot. Their witty banter and silly jokes had me in stitches. It’s clear they enjoy what they do, and their energy is contagious. All in all, Dairy Queen provides not only delicious food but also a side of laughter that’s worth savoring. It was a meal filled with laughter, happiness, and, of course, deliciousness! Can’t wait to moo-ve my way back!Note: This review is meant to be light-hearted and in the spirit of Dairy Queen's fun atmosphere.“
“This is, actually, one of the better Sonics that I have encountered. The food I have gotten here has always been hot and fresh. The drinks have always been exactly as I have ordered it. The reason why I have given any of the 4 star ratings is simply; consistency. I know that having to hire people makes this inconsistency possible. I look past it mostly, because they have given me a more consistently satisfying experience than many of the other Sonics that I have been to.“
“The Whataburger at this location has been declining lately. The service was good, their staff is very polite, however the unsweetened tea I was served was old and tasted horrible and the breakfast biscuit was barely warmed. I mentioned that the tea was soured and the young lady said they made it fresh that morning. I believe her. I believe they made sweet tea fresh that morning but not the uunsweetened, either that or they don't clean their machine properly. She offered to get me something else, but I don't drink soda or sweet tea. Being that this is at least the third time this has happened, I will likely go elsewhere when in town from now on.“
“Our first time at Seth’s for lunch on Good Friday, it was busy, but the staff was efficient and friendly! The food is Fantastic!! So many good choices, we opted for the Deep Fried Boudin and it was delicious!! My husband had the fried alligator and hush puppies along with cup of gumbo. He was definitely enjoying himself! I had the DGS (Damn good stuff) and it was!!How lucky are we to have such authentic Louisiana cuisine right here in Wood County! We’ll be back!Parking: Handicapped parking ?️ available“
