“I only had mozzarella sticks, they weren't that great. However, the bartender and servers were super quick, and the other food that came out looked good, but I can only give my opinion on what I had. Overall, i would go back though for sure.“

“I drove thru a Whataburger. It was close never had one. The burger was wrapped, so it would not drip on you in case you were traveling you could actually eat it in the car without falling apart, it was fresh. The bun was stable. It did not tear apart for some places they were soggy, the fries were hot crisp.“
“I can’t say exactly how many times we have been to Sonic here in Gilmer. Anthony was our carhop tonight and he is best we have ever had! When he came to the truck he read our entire order in detail back to us and no one else has done that yet! It used to be a regular thing, but not anymore. As we were leaving he ran out to us (as he was taking another order out) to make sure he gave us straws. Sadly, we didn’t have any cash tonight, but next time we will definitely be giving him a tip. “Ordered through the drive thru. The girl waiting on us was so sweet. We ordered tacos, egg rolls and cheese sticks. So fresh. The cheese pull on the cheese sticks was amazing. I had to let the egg rolls cool down. The tacos were fabulous a 10 out of 10!!“

Your experience there, no matter if you are running through on your lunch break or you sit and stay awhile, is welcomed and truly appreciated and it shows! They are working on improving everything about this location from the building, the staff, the food AND the service! It's worth it to give it a try to see for yourself, whether you are a brand new customer or have been there before, good experience or even bad, you won't be disappointed at the improvements this location has made, the people working there ACTUALLY CARE about every single customer that they serve! They make you feel special when you walk in and blessed if you just drive thru. While the prices are a little high and it might take a few minutes to get your fresh, hot, made to order food, it's worth the time and money to patiently wait, you won't be disappointed. “Probably the best Mom n Pop restaurant in Gilmer. They have an amazing breakfast menu and their burgers and barbecue are top notch. Prices are reasonable! If you come away from here hungry, it's your own fault.Parking: Never been an issue with parking, even if Davidson's patrons begin to overflow.Kid-friendliness: Decent kids me u and the service is also friendly toward the dinky-doo's.Wheelchair accessibility: Dining is tables and chairs. We had no issues scooting a chair out of the way for a wheelchair.“
