“I usually order for pickup. My first impression of this place was that it wasn't kind of place I expected (it's in a strange neighborhood). But my food is always hot and fresh, and I'm usually in and out within seconds.

Trip's special is the fried fish, mac, slaw, and a drink. Fish is legit; seasoned well, crispy coating, moist and delicious. Gotta have it with the tartar. Mac is nice and cheesy with good texture. I usually don't like slaw, but Lisa's slaw is sweet, delicious, and really helps to cut down the grease. Recommend throwing in some hushpuppies too.

Chicken is pretty good most of the time, it stays crispy, tender, and juicy for a while. Not mind-blowing delicious, but homestyle and very good for the value you get out of this place. Would recommend for anyone looking for a cheap, filling, satiating meal. Hits different when you're on the drive home and you're too lazy to chef up.“

“Get their fry chicken it’s really good and crunchy and their macaroni and cheese it’s really good as well my young kid likes their chicken strips with gravy and French fries I have tried them and they are also really good. Overall I really like to go here for fry chicken is less expensive than other places and way better.“

I can't eat anything spicy so I called them to inform them and they said I would have to come back up there(which I can't because I'm back at work) or they can put me in their system. “I got the 3 piece lunch with Mac n cheese and okra. It was a decent lunch for the price. I really didn't care for the Mac n cheese but that's a matter of taste. The chicken wasn't as fresh as I would have liked but it was ok. The okra was good. All in all, not a bad place“

“They are always so friendly! I have come here a couple times and the people who run the drive thru are the sweetest. The food is always fresh even close to closing and the prices aren’t bad tbh. I like this place better than church’s and Popeyes and the others. I don’t come often but every time I do makes me look forward to next time. Also try their corn nuggets!“
