we went to Shoguns today August 22 at 12:30 with a big group of 12. I also ordered the New York strip veggies and rice DINNER PORTION. I PAID $35 FOR THE TO GO ORDER. Best food in hunt county but the absolute worst attitude. Doesn’t matter when you go. Been this way for years. It’s not the hibachi side. It mostly the left side. Needs a real manager. Here’s a tip. Your host should be the friendliest person. I always feel like I ruined their day being there. And the waitress bar area on the left is never friendly.
Hibachi side is perfect tho.

Dropped my kids off at camp and took my wife out for the worst experience ever! The bartender was ready to go home at 8pm and they close at 9! She caused a huge scene in the dining room! Our waitress addressed her about the situation and they openly argued! I'll NEVER go back if the bartender is employed there!

Shogun in Greenville offers excellent Hibachi dining, with accommodating staff and a great atmosphere. The restaurant features a large dining room with tables and chairs, as well as a separate room for Hibachi grills. The food, especially the filet and scallops Hibachi, is flavorful and top-notch, comparable to higher-priced options. The Chef, Luis, ensures everything is on point and adds to the enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is peaceful with good music, making it a pleasant place to celebrate special occasions or enjoy a nice meal. While there have been some minor issues, such as overcooked rice and limited vegetables, the friendly staff and entertaining Chef make up for it. The restaurant maintains cleanliness and offers quality food, making it a must-visit dining gem in Greenville.
