They have great chicken, but don't trust them to provide what you order. I understand making a mistake every once in a while but 4/5 times I've ordered from here items have been missing.
I ordered online. The food was available 20 minutes after the scheduled time. Then when I got home and was feeding my family I realized half the chicken I ordered wasn't in the bag. I called to get a refund and was told that I need to pack my order up and bring it back to the store the...read full review

Church's Texas Chicken in Greenville receives mixed reviews highlighting both excellent food and significant service issues. Many customers praise the food as fantastic, delicious, tasty, amazing, and exceptional. Specific items highlighted include the spicy chicken tender meal, described as hot, crispy, and juicy, along with creamy mac and cheese, okra, fries, bombers, wraps, and peppers. The restaurant is noted as being clean, neat, awesome, and busy, with staff often described as friendly, supportive, nice, great, and helpful.
However, a major service failure is reported, where an order took over an hour with poor communication. Employees were sometimes rude and ignored customers, leading to a very frustrating experience described as a disaster and unexceptionable. Despite this, the chicken itself from that order was still good. Another large online order was handled correctly with hot and delicious food. Overall, while the food quality consistently earns high marks, customer service can be unreliable. The restaurant remains a favorite for many, with prices within budget, leading to strong recommendations despite the inconsistent experience.
