“I brought my mom here for lunch yesterday. The waiter that served us had kind of a crappy attitude honestly. In some moments he was nice but my mom asked what comes on a bento box because she's unfamiliar and he told her "it's on the menu". She just wanted someone to explain it to her because she was confused by the sushi and the meat options. Obviously not an item she orders often. She asked what the meat is for (i think she thought you get sushi or meat she wasn't understanding it was a part of the box) and he looked at her like she was stupid and pretty flatly answered the question. It embarrassed her. My mom is a really kind hearted person so it was frustrating watching someone make her feel dumb for asking a question in an unfamiliar environment. Sad. The food itself was good. The waiter likely was having a bad day. I've been a server and understand. But wish he'd been kinder to my mom.“

“We first heard about this place on social media. We were a little skeptical to try it, but decided to give it a chance. We shouldn't have waited! The all you can eat menu had many options to choose from. Everything looked and tasted delicious! We will definitely be back. The great service and clean environment were a plus too.“

“We wanted to try this place on our eat-out day, but honestly, we were a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews. Still, we gave it a shot—and we're glad we did. It didn’t disappoint.

The regular bowl is $13 and comes with 2 proteins and 5 sides. We were pleasantly surprised to see they actually have more protein and side options available in-store than what’s listed on the menu board. The staff were quick and efficient, and they’ll ask what sauce you want. We tried all three, but later noticed they have bottles on the side—so tip for next time: just add your own at the table to control the flavor better.

We went with salmon and tuna, and both were fresh and tasty. The portion size was solid—$13 filled us up just fine. If you’re hungrier, they also have a larger bowl for $17.

Located in a shopping center, so there’s plenty of parking. For those saying it's expensive—honestly, everything is these days, and we think the pricing here is fair for what you get as of 7/25/25.“

“I came in on a Saturday evening, and there was no wait to be seated. I did not do hibachi, I did regular dine in. I like that they had a couple of selections of Japanese beer and domestic beer. Had ordered 3 sushi rolls, and they were very delicious. I had tried a new roll called Tokyo something, and it was my fav. I also ordered an appetizer of dumplings, and they were tasty. The service was very friendly but a little slow. I believe the waitress was very busy. Overall, I enjoyed the sushi and will be returning.“

“Fantastic dinner tonight, Donny was attentive and our server Tong was fantastic! Great knowledge of the food and drinks and pleasant conversationalist! The Bao Bao starter was our favorite of the night, and our sushi was delicious and served quickly. The Adult Movie cocktail was a quirky choice (served with a small side of popcorn!) that I was pleasantly surprised by its smoky but citrus taste! The strawberry shooters with infused whipped cream were refreshing for dessert. We definitely plan to come back soon to try more!“

“We have been eating at Sarku Japan for years at various different locations. Like most chains, you know what to expect. Sarku is always cooked fresh right in front of you. It's usually one of the more popular spots in the food court. I always get the Teriyaki Chicken with white rice, and my wife gets the same with fried rice. The portions are always huge and are a great value. If you go on Teriyaki Tuesday, it's only $7.99. We have never received bad food at any location. You will leave full and satisfied. I highly recommend Sarku.“

The long: Tried Sushi Tao for the first time after seeing it on a gluten-free app. I can’t believe it’s been open 17 years and I never knew about it! The sushi was incredibly fresh, and my boyfriend loved the Cowboy Roll. The place was packed, so clearly a local favorite.

Service was the only downside. We had to ask multiple times for basics like chopsticks and soy sauce, and three different people tried to take our order. Staff seemed stretched thin. Also, while they do have gluten-free soy sauce, the servers weren’t very knowledgeable about GF options.

We’ll definitely be back for the sushi but hopefully they get more help soon!“

“It’s a nice little restaurant in Foodcourt at NorthEast mall. But they food items are pricey and expensive. The staff’s are not fluent in Speaking English. But their teriyaki beef, chicken and shrimp are excellent. Starting from $11 and up. We would definitely recommend this place if you are into grilled food menu. The quantity of food is not much for the money where they will serve you on their small box but the taste is awesome and worth every bite of the meal. If you are in the mall, check this place out in the food court.

We had the sweetest, most amazing server. He gave great food recommendations and checked up on us frequently.
The scenery was also amazing. There's a giant waterfall at the entrance when you walk in, the place is very clean, decent sized bar seating, and big TVs.
