I've gotten the privilege to live in Japan. Although one thing that haunts my soul is the yearning I have for the food that I left behind when returning home. This place filled my soul with a dinning experience that almost replicates the joys you find in a small little alley deep in the heart of Osaka, or Naha, or Tokyo.
It felt so authentic that when I closed my eyes for a moment I could believe I was back where I do desperately wanted to be.
This place doesn't just serve you food. It transports you back into the feeling of eating in Japan. Which is such a precious experience that is hard to recreate especially in America.
My waitress was wonderful the food left me in tears. I could go on and on about this place. But the bottom line is this place feeds you and your soul. I highly recommend.“

Perfect size, perfect texture, perfect taste, and the best part is, you use short-grain Japanese rice (most restaurants I've visited don't), which made it all come together perfectly. “Delicious food, great servings. Stumbled on this spot looking for an early dinner near my hotel and really hit the spot. It gives a Tokyo eatery vibe. I had the beef Bulgarian with rice, calamari for appetizer and you get access to a free mini salad bar, that has cucumber salad, potato salad, bean sprout salads along with some other stuff. I loved the cucumber salad and the bean sprout salad. Great value and great portion sizes. Definitely give them a try. Went on a Sunday afternoon and there was lots of free parking. Its located in a strip mall.“

“Oh my gosh, this place was absolutely amazing. I’m not from this area and have been looking for a new go to sushi place, and this is it. Our waitress was a star, she was on top of everything. Even after we had boxes and were paying the bill, she refilled my drink! Which never happens. We had a chicken katsu, mountain roll, Hawaiian roll, and a Dallas Stars roll and my god they were incredible. The presentation, the amount, THE TASTE. We also had enough left overs for another whole meal. ALL FOR UNDER $100! I will be back time and time again, could not recommend this place more.“

“I love this restaurant. The food is delicious and very affordable, but their Uber Eats menu is wrong, and it’s extremely annoying. In the app, the Sushi Nigiri & Sashimi Bento CLEARLY says it comes with “your choice of white or fried rice” and the rice selection is REQUIRED to order the dish. But in all the times I’ve ordered from this place, they have literally NEVER sent the rice and even wrote me a note with the last delivery stating the bento did NOT come with rice, when it’s right there in the app!! It’s pretty simple: don’t promise what you can’t or won’t deliver, and keep the damn menu up to date on the app. Thank you!“

“I've come here every once and a while off and on for about a decade, the service is always amazing and the food is always great, I was torn about leaving a review that was in poorer taste because this is a really amazing place to eat. I've noticed lately though the portion sizes are diminishing, I ordered the OMG appetizer with jalapeno, cream cheese, crab, ect, (half of the portion I got was already gone by the time I took the photo) and it's delicious! Definitely worth getting, but I was just a little disappointed that all the sticks are about the size of my pinky finger, definitely a one bite and done kind of deal. And in the Philadelphia roll I ordered, there was genuinely barely any smoked salmon except for 1 piece and I took the photo after eating a piece and realizing, though what was there was absolutely delicious! I just wished there was a little bit more for an even amount between the other ingredients in the roll. The last thing I'll add, and I hate to admit it, is I was relieved that I ordered for pickup because when I walked in to grab my food I was immediately hit with a strange sort of sewage smell as soon as I entered the doors, I'm not sure if they were just having some plumbing issues or what, but a friend of mine mentioned when I told them I was ordering that they smelled the sewage smell last time they were in the restaurant too. But the servers behind the counter were very very sweet when I picked up my order, they always are, nothing was missing from my order and everything tasted so fresh and so yummy! I'll definitely keep coming back!“

“The staff here is extremely friendly. The place was clean the food was decent. I have had better sushi, I ordered the daily bento, but their prices are very reasonable and with how friendly they are it is worth eating here. I came by myself for lunch.

“We had an 8:00 PM reservation and arrived about 5 minutes early. After checking in, we waited approximately 45 minutes without being seated. During that time, we briefly stepped outside to move our car. When we returned, the host actually laughed and told us our table had already been called while we were outside. After already waiting 45 minutes with my mother and kids on what was supposed to be a special occasion, we ultimately had to leave without being seated. The evening was completely ruined. What made the situation worse was the host’s attitude. Several guests were visibly frustrated at the front, and instead of helping resolve things, he seemed to escalate the situation rather than assist anyone. Very disappointing experience. Reservations should mean something, especially when families are waiting this long.“

“I’m not sure why there are people saying they have “skimpy portions”. I received more than enough food and then some! They do teriyaki chicken very well. It reminds me of Seattle. The flavors are all there and it’s not too heavily seasoned. The teriyaki sauce is good and the chicken is juicy! It was a very nostalgic experience eating this teriyaki.“

They can do better with choosing good pieces of chicken though, sometimes get the gross pieces. Other than that, love this kind of food. Also love the samples they provide to passer-byers.“
